Some people think that going on a safari is only about seeing animals. But it is not. It is about immersing yourself in a totally different environment. A place that is so beautiful. Witnessing and living in a different place – not the city, not the beach, not on a cruise ship, but in the home of these beautiful animals. It is not about looking for a place to shop or thinking of where you are going to eat. It is about thinking of nothing – Hakuna Matata 🙂 and just enjoying the moment. Waiting for our next game drive not knowing what we will see and where we will see them. It is so exciting!! Game Drive Day 3 is just as exciting as Day 1 and not one day was the same.

Day 2 Game drive 730am at the Masai Mara – I heard that in some reserves it is hard to spot animals, but not in the Masai Mara. There are many all over. One of the 7 Wonders of the World is the Great migration in the Masai Mara which happens from July to November. It’s a pity we did not see it. We saw 2 tortoise on the road. Our guide Wilson was a ranger so he knows and can spot animals right away. He said Leopard tortoise -dad has 4 of them. I wish we could take them home but there are rangers watching haha!! They protect the Masai which is good 🙂 #masaimara #kenya#tortoise #h2hsafari #h2hanimals#a2asafaris
