Crawfish Fusion

  Love this place – La Corneta Taqueria. Another discovery in Burlingame. Crepevine with Gretchen

My favorite street in our area is Burlingame Avenue.  Hoping to try more restaurants in this area.  My friend who lives here recommended Crepevine so I requested for this when a friend asked what I wanted to try.

 I made sure I saw her this trip ! Even if she lives here I noticed she’s always tanned! Finally I found out why !!  🙂  Everytime there’s sun she takes advantage and tans in her backyard after work! It’s also her quiet time alone and everyone in the house knows not to bother her at that time.  Gretchen works in Stanford University and she told me she is thinking of moving back to Manila. Yipee! Maybe one day. Love this couple! So sweet!!!  Greg and June.  June was my neighbor when we were kids and now in the States we are also neighbors.   I used to visit her everyday. And until now I visit her. June is the sweetest ever!!!! She and her family are our family here too #H2HSFO #H2HPeople

Wakuriya

We were so happy to finally dine at Wakuriya. There are only 2 Michelin starred restaurants @michelinrestaurants in the Peninsula. For the past 3 years we have been trying to reserve and it’s so difficult because it only seats 16 and they are always booked. You have to reserve a month in advance and call at midnight. It’s a good thing my hubby is very persistent in calling and because there was a cancellation for tonight we were able to dine! Chef Katsuhiro Yamasaki and his wife Mayumi moved from Japan to the Bay Area and opened Wakuriya in 2008. Chef Katsuhiro has 13 years experience in Japan and is a gem here. They are the only 2 people in the resto plus one staff. Mayumi is the one answering the phone for reservations and she’s also serving in the restaurant.
