Suharto and Rina suggested we go to Peter Jones in Sloane Square to take a peek. It’s a popular department store among the British where you can find almost anything you will need and at reasonable prices. This location is good because it is not as crowded as the other John Lewis stores. Peter Jones was a fabric store which was bought by John Lewis. So this is technically a John Lewis store but they maintained the name of the old shop

We caught a Godiva demo of chocolates and got some samples of yummy chocolates

Ablaze

Congratulations to Jun Jun Ablaza!! Jun Jun always looking so regal. He is wearing a beautiful antique bark which was redesigned or rejammed by designer Steve De Leon

Two years ago, he opened a stall in Market Market in the gift section. Now he has expanded and now extends to three stalls! Business is booming with all the beautiful things he has from his travels and treasures from the Philippines. I am so happy for him!

So nice to meet Julia Morales! It’s a small world since we have many common friends 🙂 She is also into monogramming with her own line called Oliver and Maude. Beautiful and elegant items! She can also monogram anything under the sun for as long as she can do it 🙂 She told us that the wildest request she has ever had was having a dining table monogrammed 🙂

It’s Wellworth The Wait

Last month, I went to the blessing and soft opening of Wellworth in Ayala Fairview Terraces!

Wellworth was a brand started by my grandmother, Gliceria Tantoco. It was a house brand in Rustan’s department store. And now I am happy to see this revived into a bigger scale and into a full department store. My Lola will always be alive and her spirit will reign in everything we do

It’s a beautiful mall!!

Bobby Dy, Chief Operating Officer and Board of Director of Ayala Land and my cousin, Anton Huang, President of SIAL. Wellworth is a department store partnership of the Rustan Group with Ayala Land under the company, SIAL Retailers Inc. Congratulations!!!!
