This is now my favourite place in Singapore!!! My friend Rina has been telling me about this but we never had time to go! We were able to pass by this trip for a few hours and it is worth the visit!!
There is no charge to go around the outside gardens Since we arrived at 5pm already and had an hour left before our dinner reservations, we just took the audio tour which takes 20 minutes to go around the outside gardens. There is a fee for this 🙂 It’s a big area so we would not have had the time to walk it all. The ride does not stop so you cannot see the individual gardens. It is just to see more or less the different gardens and a glimpse of the gardens. We still need to go back to see each garden The trolleySingaporeans really take their landscaping seriously. Even if it is such a small country, they allot a lot of space for greenery and it is beautifully done
The main entrance has 3 Super Trees
There are 2 domes in the Gardens – the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. These have entrance fees. We have to go back since we did not have time to see it during the day. We saw the Flower Dome at night which was also beautiful Beautiful views all around the Gardens
Beautiful view of Marina Bay Sands! WOW!! Dragonfly Lake There are 40 sculptures at the Gardens By the Bay @gardensbythebay
PLANET
CREATED BY MARC QUINN
The Meadow
White painted bronze, stainless steel
A hefty seven tons, this impressive bronze sculpture is 9m long and 3m tall. It portrays an oversized reproduction of the artist’s own son, Lucas, as a baby. The sculpture’s weight is masterfully balanced on the infant’s right hand, creating the illusion that the sculpture is floating in the air. Created in 2008, the sculpture was exhibited for the first time at the Beyond Limits exhibition of contemporary sculpture at Chatsworth House, then later at the 2012 The Littoral Zone, at the Musee Oceanographic in Monaco. ##GardensByTheBay #H2HSingapore #H2HArt
