From Vina:

“This was our first Assumption Batch 1984 fund-raising. It was a success due to the support I got from my classmates and friends.

Again, thank you thank you for all the encouragement and support you gave me. I was deeply touched you all believed in me.”

Sorry I could not stay the whole day for the tournament so I was able to take only a few shots in the morning, then the rest of the photos I had to get from Vina.

Since Miguel was twelve years old, he was already treating his family and friends.  He did not learn his practice from school, though he did graduate from De La Salle University where he took up Biology as his pre Med.742854086503_0_bg.jpgHis technique is self taught……He does not prescribe any medicines, all his treatments are done with his hands.  That for me is magical healing powers.  He not only invented it, he even named it.  Miguel calls it  Myovasotherapy.  “Myo”means muscle and “vaso” means the circulatory system.   13.jpg  ( Painting made by Miguel’s Mom hanging on his wall- also the family tree of Miguel )He deals with nerves, tendons, ligaments – He treats pains from sports or occupational injuries that occur in all soft tissues- golf elbow, migraines, pulled muscles, Sciatica, Stiff necks, Sprains, Tennis elbow, Tendonitis, TMJD (tempomandibularjoint disorder), Torn Rotator cuffs, frozen shoulders and others but I heard from Vina and Lisa that some girls at the badminton court have themselves treated even if they have no injury…. I wonder why? 🙂

His clinic reminds me of a spa and I like it so much because it is not intimidating, it gives the patient a more relaxed atmosphere….

The true test that his healing powers work is that he is always fully booked.

Camp Pain for fitness!

Boot Camp classes will provide a time-efficient approach to exercise. You work the whole body. You’re in and out. For most of us who are time-conscious, it’s a nice way to fit fitness in.  In a gym, you’re on your own, at Boot Camp you form a camaraderie with people, because you’re going through the challenges together.

The core of Boot Camp is that it is an overall, well designed, whole body workout. A fitter you will perform better in whatever sport you participate in, in whatever situation you find yourself in.  The classes are about progress, not perfection.   The class works with your abilities and encourages you to work at your own pace.Boot Camp will develop your strength, stamina and flexibility. The program combines cardiovascular and strength training exercises in a regimented 60 minute sessions.

MFC Europe Tour Part 3

The Gothia Cup ( http://www.gothiacup.se/ ) Opening ceremony is an important event for the kids because it emphasizes the significance and the scale of the tournament they are joining. It lifts the spirits of the kids and makes them feel part of a GREAT event. My photo coverage cannot describe the feeling we all experienced being inside the stadium and seeing all the teams from all over the world. AMAZING! Thanks to Coach Tomas Lozano for giving many children a chance to be part of this SPECTACULAR tournament.

July 6, Friday
Today we said goodbye to Jaime as he leaves for a 3 week trip to represent the Philippines in various soccer tournaments in Europe-Costa Blanca Cup, Spain, Gothia Cup, Sweden and Football Festival – Denmark. He is very fortunate to have this opportunity… and more important than bringing home the trophy is the experience that he will get. Good luck to the Philippine team!
