How to serve TWG Teabags:

Preparation of 1 litre of iced tea

For a rich, intense and flavourful beverage:

  1. Place 1 teabag into a teapot.
  2. Add 1/2 litre of pure, simmering water.
  3. Steep for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove teabag and pour into glasses filled to the brim with large ice cubes.

For a more delicately infused beverage:

  1. Place 1 teabag into a glass pitcher.
  2. Add 1 litre of pure water at room temperature.
  3. Refrigerate for about 12 hours.
  4. Stir and remove the teabag before serving.

Enjoy this iced tea as it is or sweetened to taste with sugar syrup.

Brooks Brothers for USA Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015

May 2015 (Milan, Italy) Brooks Brothers has been designated the official apparel sponsor for the USA Pavilion at this year’s world’s fair, Expo Milano 2015. Brooks Brothers, established in 1818 and America’s oldest apparel brand, created custom uniforms for the 120 Student Ambassadors representing the best and brightest from colleges and universities from across the United States.

Each student is outfitted in the brand’s iconic button-down shirt and blue blazer. Completing their outfits, men will wear a special edition tie and women a custom silk scarf; both items feature the USA Pavilion’s distinctive flag motif.

All of the uniforms have been created by Brooks Brothers at its factories in the USA and were revealed during the opening day ceremony.

The USA Pavilion’s theme is “American Food 2.0: United to Feed the Planet” and encourages open dialogue and highlights innovation on a wide range of topics, including food security, sustainability and mobility, with an eye towards the planet’s future.

Brooks Brothers has also designed and created uniforms for the staff of the James Beard American Restaurant at Seven Stars, located at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and for the USA Pavilion’s “Food Truck Nation” located on the USAP grounds. The restaurant staff can be seen wearing red & white gingham shirts, a navy tie and an apron crafted in denim.

Nutritious Ingredients

We’ve got thirty years of experience in using natural ingredients for their benefit to the skin. Because of our expertise, we have the confidence to be able to give our customers consultations about all of our skin care products. Our sun care range pioneers the use of sunscreens in cosmetics, and we’ve also found that nature is giving us the solutions. By mixing safe synthetic sunscreens with beneficial natural ingredients; not only is our sun care range full of beautiful and nourishing ingredients for your skin, but they will also help to protect you from the sun. Calamine powder is rich in zinc oxide, which is already used as a sunscreen in many cosmetic products, whilst ingredients like sesame oil and olibanum oil actually help boost the protective power of the three broad-spectrum sunscreens we use.

Non-Animal Tested

The synthetic sunscreens we have used have a long history of safe use and are industry standard. We know that the ones we use are safe in the quantities we’ve used them and all our products are tested on human volunteers at Cantor labs, New Jersey, USA. This is a non-animal testing lab run by vegetarian scientist Doctor Shyla Cantor. The SPF’s and UVAPF’s are determined by exposing a small patch of the person’s skin to broad-spectrum UV light whilst wearing the product. The results are measured and this then gives us the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) & the UVAPF.

Application

The recommended amount for you to use of each product is 2mg for every square centimetre of skin. This will ensure that you are covered and protected for two hours and that you are receiving the product’s full protective capacity. Re-application is really important, you must apply every two hours.

Sunscreens are a must if you want to protect your skin whilst you’re out in the sun. Everyone’s skin is different and paler skins are more sensitive to sunlight, so even if you’re wearing sunscreen you might still be susceptible to the damage that UVA and UVB rays can inflict on the skin. In order to stay safe, you just need to take some care and think about your skin. UV rays can be really harmful and sometimes the damage isn’t something you’ll notice straight away. It only takes a few simple precautions to enjoy the sun and keep your skin healthy and happy.

In November 2014, Beauty Bar opened its’ 27th door in Central Square, Bonifacio Global City. The store area is a total of 261 square meters, 50 square meters of which is dedicated to the NY-based Dashing Diva nail salon.

The new concept shop of Beauty Bar stands out for its inviting and refreshing design, which is collaboration with German designers, Blocher and Blocher. To complement its’ new interiors, the Beauty Bar logo and packaging collaterals are likewise updated. As you enter the store, you are greeted by a wash of new colors: white and dark grey with accents of gold and red. A soft, feminine touch is achieved by a hand-painted mural of leaves, birds and hearts on the pristine white wall of the Personal Care area. The store manager and staff are dressed in black with red print details lifted from the mural design, giving them a chic and fashionable makeover. The total new look of Beauty Bar appears to be a deviation from the old Beauty Bar customers have come to love over the years, but its new look definitely makes them fall in love all over again.  Pretty much like any other girl, she’s grown up and evolved with the times.
