Congratulations Pinky on your recital for your Silid Sining Workshop Musical Theater! I hope you continue to do what you are doing- bringing out the best in the kids and helping them pursue their talents in dance and music.
It was so nice to see children of different ages performing together and enjoying. Mariza and David had a great time.
As Pinky said, the most important thing that the kids can get from the workshop is building their self esteem and confidence…….. and if you achieve this, then you have done your job.
What also struck me was Anton, a handicapped little boy, who was joining the workshop. Seeing him participate and do what all the other kids were doing proves that anyone can do anything as long as you try and as long as you believe in yourself, have the courage, and know that anything is possible.

Heart2Heart was able to watch one of the classes. They were rehearsing that day for their recital.

The RECITAL, May 7, Wednesday 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Anne Arbor Montessori School
Opening Remarks and The National Anthem sang by Pinky
Invocation by Rach and Rebecca. They had such angelic voices! Lori told me that she cries whenever she hears her kids sing.

Camp Cali 2006
We picked up Jaime on his last day of camp. Our sister Dina told us about it and we decided to let our sons, Jaime and Ramon, join. We witnessed the last day of camp and were amazed!! Sharing with you the photos. We highly recommend you send your children as well.
Dear Friends and Family,
Two years ago, a couple of friends and I interested in youth development put up an honest-to-goodness residential Summer Camp for kids 7-11 and 12-15 years of age. Located on an island at beautiful Lake Caliraya in Laguna, we are offering a variety of activities and lessons for participants, in a beautiful natural environment. Kids can be themselves, experience community living and explore the natural environment underthe watchful eye of camp counselors under our supervision.
We love having groups of cousins and friends come together for a week of fun, friendship and freedom. The Camp Cali experience is guaranteed to be a milestone in every young person’s life. Check us out. Camp Cali is The Place for Kids!
All the best!

Every Sunday, we take turns hosting the de Jesus Sunday lunch. It was our turn to host and I was panicking because my cook was on leave. It was so timely that my Mom came to the rescue and decided to host the lunch at her place without me asking. Whew! I am so lucky I have my Mom! And as usual, Mom is ready for summer with her floral theme!
Even the household staff had floral aprons to wear!
The de Jesus family was not complete but we were able to invite Tita Isabel, Beno and Isa to join us who are really part of the family anyway.
We had our main course outside in the garden in the middle of the summer heat….
Then dessert indoors…. Thanks to Isa for bringing all the fresh fruits and her home made Tiramisu and Ice Box cake. Yummy!! We will be inviting you more often!!! 🙂

I dragged Mom to come with me to Rockwell at 7:00 am. I came out with around 200 pictures and she came out with around 200 shopping bags!! 🙂
Malou of course was there and they were giving out free breakfast with Starbucks coffee for the early birds from 7:00 am till 8:00 am. Messy Bessy was there!! That is my sister Krie! Love the way she fixed up her booth. She is so artistic and so creative!
Krie’s bestfriend, Mariel, was there too selling her own items from Negros. Beautiful summer colors!
I love the way Rustan’s did their booth! It is so “SOUK!” Other Vendors:
My friend Des, we used to work together also in Rustan’s. She is from Pampanga and has really very good Kapampangan food…and of course her famous barbeque.
Another friend, Vicky, who owns Cucina Victoria which is also inside the Powerplant Mall.
This booth was so colorful and fun!!! Love it! Apparently she is the maker of the yummy Parmesan Chips I featured. And so happy to see many more items that she makes!!
And my beautiful friend Margie who is my boot camp partner and the Paella Queen. She told me that she uses imported squid ink from Spain for her Paella Negra. It is really good! She has many more dishes you can order for your parties at home. Give her a call.

I heard about this from my cousin, Ana. I thought it was a great idea and a very easy way to help..my foundation helps kids too and provides almost the same activities for the less fortunate kids. So, this our way of helping ATD.
