From the Peak Tram terminal, just right beside is the Hong Kong Park.  Again, first time to pass here…It was nice to walk back home to the hotel through the park, a pleasant walk

Nadaman Part 2, Island Shangri-la, Hong Kong

By | Foodie, Travel | No Comments

This is Nadaman Part 2 already since Heart2Heart featured it already before

Previous Entry:  Nadaman April 6, 2008

img_1429.JPGimg_1430.jpgimg_1431.jpg

Of course, when we reserve, we make sure Chef Mok is there to cook for us

img_1432.jpgimg_1433.jpgimg_1444.jpgimg_1446.jpgimg_1447.JPG

Heart2Heart suggests that you eat in Nadaman for lunch because it is cheaper than dinner.  If you go dinner time, the menu prices changes maybe to even double

img_1448.jpgimg_1449.jpgimg_1450.JPGimg_1451.JPGimg_1457.jpgimg_1463.jpgimg_1460.JPGimg_1461.JPGimg_1462.JPGimg_1465.JPG

The Peak, Hong Kong

By | Travel | No Comments

Heart2Heart was so happy to experience Hong Kong leisurely… normally Hong Kong is a business trip and I don’t see anything but buildings – offices or shops.

This is my first time to go to The Peak in Hong Kong.  It’s a short ride up and it’s the best way to see the view of the city

img_1625.jpg

On the right side going up- you can already see part of the view

img_1630.JPGimg_1633.JPGimg_1640.JPG

When you get there, there are shops and restaurants

img_1644.jpgimg_1645.JPGimg_1646.jpg

And there is a Nature Walk

 naturewalkspeak.jpg

You can go to the Sky Terrace to experience the full view from the top and it is really beautiful

img_1660.JPG

Wow! I wonder how it is like to live on top of the mountain!

img_1663.JPG

Another view from the other side

img_1664.JPG

There is a mall as well there which we were not able to go to anymore

img_1667.JPG

The view from the top showing the route of the peak tram

img_1674.jpg

We went to the Madame Tussaud Wax Museum!  🙂 We get a thrill out of taking photos with the stars because they look so real! 🙂

img_1695.JPGimg_1693.jpgimg_1679.jpgimg_1688.jpgimg_1689.jpgimg_1690.jpgimg_1697.JPGimg_1701.jpgimg_1702.jpgimg_1707.jpgimg_1700.jpgimg_1712.JPGimg_1713.jpgimg_1716.jpgimg_1715.JPG

Inside is a horror trail which we did not go into!  🙂

img_1718.JPGimg_1719.jpgimg_1722.JPGimg_1723.jpgimg_1734.jpgimg_1740.JPGimg_1742.jpgimg_1748.jpg

and then back down

Summer Outing at Forest Club

By | Summer, Travel | One Comment

James and I treated our office staff for a summer outing.  We included also our household staff.  After all the hard work they do throughout the year, they deserve a break.  Most of all, it is a time for them to bond with each other outside the office and have some fun!  We joined them in the morning and then let them continue to enjoy til the afternoon! They said they had a great time!  Thanks to Robbi Mercado and the staff of Forest Club for organizing everything!   I made a short video for them as their souvenir for that day!
