One of our favorite dimsum restaurants in Pacific Place. They renovated and moved around the restaurants in the mall so this was where Peking Garden used to be

From the Peak Tram terminal, just right beside is the Hong Kong Park. Again, first time to pass here…It was nice to walk back home to the hotel through the park, a pleasant walk
Trees are marked and have names
They even have an aviary!
You can see the tall buildings nearby

This is Nadaman Part 2 already since Heart2Heart featured it already before
Previous Entry: Nadaman April 6, 2008
Of course, when we reserve, we make sure Chef Mok is there to cook for us
Heart2Heart suggests that you eat in Nadaman for lunch because it is cheaper than dinner. If you go dinner time, the menu prices changes maybe to even double
Ingredients for the teppanyaki
Unagi Teppanyaki!!
This time, I took a video of how he cooked the Unagi and on the side you will see Foie Gras Teppanyaki – Miam Miam!
[wp_youtube]7Hk7_4NlU50[/wp_youtube]
and the foie gras that was also in the video- I prefer the one rolled in beef- see my previous entry
Another Unagi dish, but the teppanyaki is 100 times better
Fish
Scallops
Serious Japanese fried rice
Can you tell which is the kobe beef?
Serious garlic fried rice
Garlic and spring onion for the Usuyaki rolled beef! This is very good!!
More beef
Kobe beef!
The fat!

Heart2Heart was so happy to experience Hong Kong leisurely… normally Hong Kong is a business trip and I don’t see anything but buildings – offices or shops.
This is my first time to go to The Peak in Hong Kong. It’s a short ride up and it’s the best way to see the view of the city
On the right side going up- you can already see part of the view
When you get there, there are shops and restaurants
And there is a Nature Walk
You can go to the Sky Terrace to experience the full view from the top and it is really beautiful
Wow! I wonder how it is like to live on top of the mountain!
Another view from the other side
There is a mall as well there which we were not able to go to anymore
The view from the top showing the route of the peak tram
We went to the Madame Tussaud Wax Museum! 🙂 We get a thrill out of taking photos with the stars because they look so real! 🙂
Inside is a horror trail which we did not go into! 🙂
and then back down

James and I treated our office staff for a summer outing. We included also our household staff. After all the hard work they do throughout the year, they deserve a break. Most of all, it is a time for them to bond with each other outside the office and have some fun! We joined them in the morning and then let them continue to enjoy til the afternoon! They said they had a great time! Thanks to Robbi Mercado and the staff of Forest Club for organizing everything! I made a short video for them as their souvenir for that day!
