A few weeks ago, I met a very very sweet lady named Jane 🙂 She’s a blogger ( http://www.sugargospice.com ) too like me and she told me that she is a regular follower of Heart2Heart and it made me so happy. I can tell right away when people really read my website and are up to date 🙂
Here is Jane with her portable electric fan which is such a great gadget to have in your bag! 🙂 ( Purchased at Rustan’s ) She’s also wearing Criselda for Rustan’s 🙂 Definitely I love her already 🙂
We had picture taking session 🙂 I don’t normally like my photo taken but I could not say no to her. She made me feel like a star 🙂
Post on her blog 🙂 ( Click below to go to the blog post )
She made me feel important and loved 🙂 and now I love her too because she is so nice 🙂 She even wrote me a beautiful note
and shared with me her favourite cheesecake! 🙂 She gave me 3 cheesecakes from Indulgence by Irene who was also with us that night
which I saw before at Pinoy Eats World 🙂 Previous entry: Romantic East by Pinoy Eats World February 23, 2014
It is yummy!! 🙂 If you look at the photo, it is a very small cheesecake but it’s very condensed 🙂 Just one bite is very creamy and very rich 🙂 She gave me Choc Nut, Queso de bola and Ube ( using Homemade Treasures Ube )
Thank you Jane and to all the viewers of Heart2Heart! It’s always nice to meet people who appreciate what you do – it’s people like these that keep me going. Thank you for your unending support Jane and to all of you that do too. I LOVE you from the bottom of my HEART 🙂
I am posting photos here of people who I have met in the past and recently who view Heart2Heart. I should keep track and I will be starting now 🙂
This is Tina Filamor who I bumped into in Enderun last year. I took her photo with her cute dog. Last we spoke, she was scouting for young talents for commercials or advertising materials 🙂
Another Filamor and I am not sure if they are related 🙂 Susan Filamor who I bump into at the Manila Polo Club but this time I saw her with her daughter Carla. She is also a friend of my brother, Quito. Small world 🙂
My friend Darcy in London with her other friends, Cynthia and Meg, who also view Heart2Heart! THANK YOU!!
Heidi Blanco from Cebu! I was taking photos of this Shawarma place and she was there and she told me that she also follows Heart2Heart! Thank you Heidi
How nice! We have followers all around the world 🙂

Sharing here a true story about my sister in law, Pam. She had to buy this freer to store all her breast milk. I know someone else who bought 2 freezers and another friend had a chest freezer!!
Thanks also to Medela’s double breast pump! I wish I had this during my time
This goes everywhere Mommy Pam goes even to Hong Kong! 🙂
Her baby is now 6 months old and still is drinking pure breast milk. Look how healthy and cute he is!!! I think the milk is going to the cheeks and chin 🙂
and arms 🙂
Plus Mommy Pam donated all this milk which came out to 20 liters of breast milk to the Philippine General Hospital ( PGH ) ICU Nursery. How nice that she can help other babies in the ICU at the same time her baby is so healthy drinking all that breast milk
Pam told me that it’s a UNICEF advocacy tie up with PGH called Beauty, Brains and Breastfeeding
Coach Z has a book
She also has a website, click below

Michele is the sister of my friend, Yvonne. When she found out she had cancer, she had a different reaction, she did not cry, she did not become depressed, she CHOSE JOY! She chose to look at the positive side and she Thanked God for sparing her sisters and choosing her instead of them. Now that is proof of how selfless she is.
Finally, her story, from Michele herself. Listen to her! The happiest cancer patient in history! 🙂 She’s a blessing to all of us because she is living proof that Happiness is truly an inside job and she has been propagating this message. She is an inspiration to many!

Quoting from one of the messages of Pope Francis on evangelisation ( from my friend Yvonne ) ” Only the person who feels happiness in seeking the good of others, in desiring their happiness, can be missionary. If I can help at least one of person to have a better life, that already justifies the offering of my life”

We never stop learning from our Lolo! We could write a book on all the witty remarks and intelligent quotes he tells all of us. Last year I posted some learnings from our eldest cousin, M. Donnie
Previous entry: What I learned from Lolo Benny March 3, 2013
That was apparently too little compared to all the other things we learn from him. So on this day, his special day, I would like to share another beautiful speech written again by M. Donnie. Even if he lists down 12 here, there’s much much more!

Last February, Javier joined a tennis tournament, the Coach Anthony Tordesillas Cup
Coach Anthony used to teach my nephew, Ramon and my two sons, Jaime and Javier, tennis. ( I am having a hard time looking for the photo with Coach Anthony and the kids ) He was a good friend of my brother in law, Mike.
He passed away a few years ago and this tournament was started by his brother, Roque Tordesillas. Proceeds from the tournaments goes to a foundation to aid tennis players who cannot afford
Coach Anthony had many students that loved him
We were happy to see Coach Anthony’s wife, Carmela
Coach Anthony has two lovely daughters
This is already the third year
Thank you to Roque for keeping the memory of Coach Anthony alive through this tournament, he will always be remembered

My friend, Mig, is the doctor of the stars! 🙂 When David Foster came to Manila, mig did some treatment for him. After which David Foster contacted him and flew him over to the States to do a follow up treatment. Cool!!!
After his treatment, David asked Mig if he could stop by the house of his friend, Barbra! 🙂
We are so lucky Mig is just here and we can avail of his healing powers immediately.
Mig used to have a small space in his Aunt’s house before

Sandy continues to be in our hearts and in our lives as she spreads the word about dengue and how to protect ourselves from becoming a victim. Sandy’s family are keeping her spirit alive through their recently launched project – The Sandy Project. Sharing it hear in Heart2Heart and I am asking you to spread this to all your friends and family and especially to children so they can be aware of dengue

Yesterday, Sandy’s school gave a very beautiful tribute for her! I am so glad I took videos! I worked on this quickly so please bear with me. I hope it will still capture the essence of the event. Thank you Peaches for making me a part and making me cry with everyone else! Thank you for allowing me to document this wonderful tribute. You are truly blessed

Here are some photos which I will post as well from the video. It was my first time to visit MGIS Mahatma Gandhi International School. A very nice school with only around 150 students so approximately 10 per level. So almost everyone knows each other here 🙂 It’s an IB school
When I arrived in the school, I saw this poster!! The kids of Peaches are all champions in archery including Sandy!
Everyone gathered in the auditorium
Spearheaded by Headmistress Rebecca Warren
They prepared song numbers, slideshows and planted a beautiful tree in commemoration of Sandy
All the students hung messages for Sandy on the tree
Sandy’s best friend
Other Moms, grand moms and sisters joining the celebration

A year ago today, my batchmate’s daughter passed away because of dengue. Sandy was only 10 years old. Today Heart2Heart remembers Sandy. I wore pink today not only because I like pink but because Sandy liked pink too. When this happened last year, many people were asking me about it, so here is the story from her Father, Clint. And the beautiful wake all in pink
She’s the daughter of Clint and Peaches Martinez Aranas
Sharing the story written by Sandy’s father, Clint, which he shared during the wake last year
They had a beautiful wake for Sandy
