Almond Lychee Gelatin

We had a batch reunion last month and even if I did not go, I heard about the yummy dessert that Adiel Ty-Cruz, one of our batchmates, brought. So I joined in to ask for the recipe and she gladly shared it 🙂 I made it and liked it so much and to think it is so easy to make

It was so much fun, we were sharing online once we had finished making it.

Mine! It had no presentation at all since I did not see it -so this is how it came out. But taste was so good! Very rich but very good! When Chef Javs saw me make this, he suggested we add more fruits like maybe fresh shredded coconut and maybe even add sago balls

Generations of Assumptionists

During our Velada, we had three generations of Assumptionists emcee to introduce the jubilarians!

During our Velada, we shared the stage with the other Jubilarians! They all did a great job and helped make our velada a memorable one. We are very much inspired now to be like the Pearl batch of 1982 and we are looking forward to performing again in five years! The Pearl batch dedicated their performance to a batchmate, Maggie. They say that when you put your heart and soul into the performance, it is what makes it a successful one

Michelle is the older sister of our Batch President, Yvonne Dayrit- Romualdez.

And she has been a part of us

It is because of Michelle that we were able to hire Maribeth Bichara our choreographer who is very very hard to get due to her busy schedule

Michelle danced with us during the finale of Fireworks as our Katy Perry

And today we received a beautiful surprise from her! Thank you Michelle for the feature in the Philippine Star and for helping us spread our message of FAITH!!! WE ALL LOVE YOU!!!

Assumption Velada 2012 Batch 87 Faith Fully AC

Last October 21 was the culminating event of our Silver Jubilee. It was a product of three years – all of us working together and bonding. I witnessed what the batch went through and it’s amazing how united and how each and everyone contributed to make this a successful Velada! Together with the great choreography of Maribeth Bichara, Reigh Sy,

the direction by Paolo Bustamante and the sisterhood and unity among all of us made it a spectacular production! There were no sections, just one batch and we are even stronger now and have formed new friendships! I came in halfway through rehearsals already and others came a week before but everyone was willing to teach and make sure all the newcomers knew the steps. I am so proud and so happy I am part of this great batch.

If you are celebrating your Velada in the future, make sure you are part of it!
