Tiffany & Co. Paper FlowersTM Takes Over Rustan’s Makati
Tiffany & Co. has launched their newest collection, Tiffany Paper FlowersTM by decorating the façade of Rustan’s Makati with paper flowers and their signature Tiffany Blue®.
The iconic jeweler is also treating guests and customers with a glimpse of New York

by featuring Tiffany Blue® park benches and potted paper flowers, as well as, a branded ice cream cart to serve complimentary desserts on October 20 and 21.


Inspired by the launch of the same collection in New York, where the campaign painted the city Tiffany Blue® and lined the streets with signature-colored taxis, paper flowers and coffee carts.
The Tiffany Paper FlowersTM collection is about the idea of a flower, its archetypal outlines cut from paper, the perfect pure canvas where anything is possible. Montblanc Turns (RED): Introducing (MONTBLANC M)RED
A new writing instrument designed by Marc Newson supports (RED)’s fight to end AIDS
With the launch of the new (MONTBLANC M)RED writing instrument, Montblanc joins the fight against AIDS, raising funds to support programs that help millions of people impacted by HIV/AIDS. Designed by Marc Newson, the writing instrument in precious red resin pairs the visionary designer’s trademark biomorphic style, defined by fluid and pure organic forms with Montblanc’s iconic design cues. Available as a Fountain Pen, Roller Ball or Ballpoint, (MONTBLANC M)RED is accompanied by red accessories that include a leather sketch book, a bracelet and a pair of cufflinks. A portion of proceeds from the purchase of (MONTBLANC M)RED products goes directly to the Global Fund, an organization created to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria epidemics.

Montblanc demonstrates its passion for innovation through its collaboration with Marc Newson, continuously pushing boundaries with unexpected cutting-edge design and high-performing products. Newson makes a bold aesthetic statement in red while balancing form with functionality expressed in the ingenious use of a magnet that allows the magnetic closing of the cap and barrel with perfect alignment of the clip to the innovative “plateau” at the barrel end. An additional snap mechanism smoothens the closure and ensures the cap remains firmly in place. The fluidity of the overall design is achieved by avoiding breaks in the pure lines of the shape. Thus, the Montblanc emblem made of white precious resin is ultrasonically welded onto the distinctive “plateau” to form a perfectly flat surface, while the platinum-plated clip is mounted invisibly into the cap to not interrupt the design flow. For an optimal writing experience, the platinum-coated metal forepart balances the weight of the writing instrument. The 14K gold nib of the writing instrument is rhodium-coated with a ruthenium-coated inlay. The distinctive codes of a Montblanc writing instrument retained by Newson in his design include the use of precious resin and the iconic white emblem.
To complement the enhanced writing experience, Montblanc is introducing a Sketch Book in red Italian calfskin with red cut edges. A Bracelet in woven red leather features a stainless steel closing decorated with a polished and brushed matte motif of Montblanc’s iconic three rings. A pair of round stainless steel Cufflinks with a red lacquered inlay complete the (PRODUCT)RED assortment.

For every (MONTBLANC M)RED writing instrument and accessory purchased, 5 Euros will go to the Global Fund to support HIV/AIDS programmes, that’s enough for instance to provide over 25 days of life-saving HIV medication.

The Timbang Family from Tarlac have a rare genetic form of inherited congenital cataract that has left three generations partially blind. In 25 years, the Fred Hollows Foundation has never had a case like this, with so many members of a family affected.
Like any grandmother, Lola Iluminada Timbang wants only the best for her children and grandchildren. But unfortunately, seven of her children had cataracts, who in turn passed it on to their children. “The kids are lucky if they can finish grade 6 because they can’t even see the blackboard,” Lola said. Theirs is a hazy world and sunlight is unbearable.
“I approached several doctors, but it was too expensive, between 50,000 and 70,000 pesos,we just couldn’t afford it,” said Layla Jake Timbang, mother of 10-year-old Marlon Jake. She worked as a housekeeper in Jordan for two years but could not save enough money for the operation. For Layla, her husband’s family history of cataracts came as a surprise. “I didn’t realise at first, because it was always night when he courted me, so he didn’t squint,” she laughed. “It was only after I got married that I found out about the family’s eye problems.”
With help from the Fred Hollows Foundation and the Tarlac Provincial Hospital Eye Center, 18 of the Timbang children had their eyes fixed on a weekend. After just a few hours, the patches came off and their blurry world is now clear.





For seven-year-old Maia Janella Garcia, it’s a revelation. She can see clearly and wants to use that opportunity to help others. Her cousin, Danielle Joshua Pagco, also seven, wants to be an astronaut and travel to his favorite planet, Jupiter. As her grandchildren open a new chapter in their lives, Lola Iluminada’s vision for future generations of the Timbang family is now a lot closer to what she always wanted.

Following the first chapter, a video and image campaign featuring Silvia Venturini Fendi, FENDI Creative Director for Accessories, Menswear and Kidswear and her daughters Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Leonetta Luciano Fendi, this one now focuses on five international couples of women.
Mothers and daughters, or sisters, they are the protagonists of intimate and unexpected images and short videos, were released on FENDI’s social networks.
A silent and discreet character, the legendary FENDI Peekaboo bag shines in the images in several variations, from the classic regular style to the mini and micro options.
For the first time Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, along with Kardashian’s daughter North West, shot in Los Angeles, showed their special connections. They star in candid and spontaneous shots, which instead of focusing on their public images, capture their most authentic and intimate personality. The frames create a sort of family album offering an unseen, unexpected point of view on their relationship.
FENDI embraced the same approach to shoot other international personalities in their private lives. They include sisters Jessica and Krystal Jung, both singers and actresses, who were photographed in Seoul, Hong Kong-based mother and daughter, Kam Fung and music performer Joey Yung, musician Dou Jiayuan captured with her mother, photographer GaoYuan, in Beijing, as well as Ewan McGregor’s daughters, actress and photographer Clara Mc Gregor with songwriter EstherMc Gregor, who were portrayed in Los Angeles.
Each short film features Kanye West’s Love Lockdown as its emotional, captivating and progressing soundtrack. To celebrate his strong love for his family, Kanye West has chosen to give his voice to the video featuring his wife, Kim Kardashian, his little daughter North West and his mother-in-lawKris Jenner, adding his personal touch to the women’s special connections. An episode after another, the song unfolds as FENDI develops a narrative, highlighting the special, irreplaceable and strong bond between outstanding women.
