The Mac Duggal brand is positioned at the high end of the women’s special occasion dress market and includes eleven different collections driven by Designer Mac Duggal’s artistic, modern and luxurious design with couture-inspired fit and sizing.
Mac Duggal opened the first design house just over 30 years ago in Chicago, Illinois. Corporate headquarters are now located in Burr Ridge, Illinois and partnered with over 30,000 experts worldwide in ensuring the highest level of quality control is maintained in the fabrication of its designs. It is Mac Duggal’s one-of-a-kind styles, sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic, and influential designs that have made them a staple in Couture wear spanning the globe in over 5 continents and 32 countries. While corporate headquarters and the design studio are based in Burr Ridge, Illinois, Mac Duggal collaborates with exclusive leading global partners in the manufacturing and production of its branded product. From fashion editor to celebrity stylist, movie star to headline entertainer, pageant winner to prom queen – Mac Duggal’s designs are spotlighted, worn and coveted around the globe.
Mac Duggal’s first collection, Creative Creations, was a line of dazzling gowns blending Indian beauty and elegance with Western styling. About the Artists
Mac Duggal
Born in India, designer Mac Duggal’s enthusiasm for women’s couture fashion was honed at an early age when he began to merge the rich, royal history and opulent traditions of his native land with a sophisticated and contemporary design esthetic.
Arriving in the United States at the age of 23, Mac continued his success story with a custom designed tulle ball gown featuring a subtle hand-painted underlining. Dubbed his “Wish Upon A Star” design, the dress launched his namesake collection and remains the inspiration for some of the brand’s most sought-after ready-to-wear bestsellers.
Today the Mac Duggal Design House continues to showcase seasonal collections known for their statement and entrance-making drama, feminine detailing and modern sensibility. From couture one-of-a-kind styles fabricated for red carpet, performance, stage and screen to cocktail dresses and gowns to mark special occasions and milestone moments – every Mac Duggal design is a timeless and ageless fashion statement that defines every stage of a woman’s life and fashion lifestyle.
Ieena Duggal
From a young age Ieena Duggal would follow her father, Mac Duggal, around at work and be enthralled by his creations. She would spend endless hours going through Mac Duggal catalogs and magazines and day dream about wearing the beautiful garments. As she got older, her dreams shifted from wearing the gowns to creating them.
Ieena’s first collection debuted in 2015 and was designed for every woman. She loves seeing the spectrum from youthful girls to refined women wearing her designs. Traveling and seeing new places and cultures inspires her designs. To her, choosing which fabrics, colors and textures to use in executing her designs is equally as rewarding as the viewing the final product. One philosophy she lives by is to ‘embrace change’. While her creations stay true to the Mac Duggal standards for quality and luxury, Ieena’s designs have a signature all her own – a mesmerizing blend of edgy modernism and classic sophistication and grace.

While Hebron stays true to her classic, timeless style, she also injected a dose of summer freshness to her pieces as she took inspiration from the varying hues of the sky, sand, and sea. The result is a color palette that is clean and subdued, reminiscent of the calm waves of the ocean at sunset, with the varying textures and materials lending each piece a look that’s both classic and cool.
The label’s latest collection, boasts a modern selection of essentials that are given a touch of thoughtful details. Jumpsuits, asymmetrical tops, tie-front culottes, sleeveless tops, flowy skirts and dresses are showcased in the lineup. The relaxed, minimalist vibe of each piece makes them an easy pick—the perfect go-to clothing for a summer season as hot as ours.
For the Summer 2018 collection, the designer worked with Silnag Horn Jewelry and inspired beautiful pieces of accessories. Usually made out of Philippine Water Buffalo Horn, the Silnag pieces to be featured at the Lady Rustan Summer 2018 Fashion Show are made from cow bone, acacia wood, sheep leather and semi-precious stones.
