Category Archives: What’s New at Starbucks?
There is a Starbuck App wherein you can just pay through your iPhone! As usual my husband downloaded it ASAP! and used it while in the States
On the road, we stopped by the gas station and got some Starbucks for breakfast
He makes sure he has enough load!
Then they just scan this when you get to the counter to pay! HIGH TECH!!

We saw so many Starbucks stores in Seattle, and all very nice!! Of course, we would not miss out on visiting the first Starbucks store which opened in 1971

Wherever the weather goes, your favorite handcrafted espresso beverage can follow. For the mornings when winter re-emerges, your favorite hot espresso beverage is there to warm you up, and when the sun comes out (hooray!), that same beverage over ice will recharge and refresh you.

After lunch, we visited the nearest Starbucks store which was at JP Laurel. I featured this before

It was so nice to see managers from the Rustan Group!
My nieces even skipped school just to listen! I wish i had sent my boys as well! It was worth it!
Until this day, my Dad and my Mom have remained very very close friends with Howard and Lyn. When you focus on the people, relationships last even outside of work and even after work!
Thank you to Howard Behar for coming over and sharing your time with us. That one hour talk was truly valuable to me and for sure to everyone who had the chance to listen that day
Watch a few clips from the talk:

It’s about PEOPLE, It’s about serving people!

And to quote from what my cousin Gippy said:
I thought I was going to hear about the Starbucks success story. I did but nothing about marketing strategy, or money, etc. He just spoke about being yourself and being human and knowing yourself in utmost clarity and honesty, and serving others. It almost felt like I was listening to Jesus. I know that sounds too incredible but something tells me that that was the same thing Jesus was teaching his apostles. Maybe if Jesus lived a little longer he would have also created a Starbucks and more like Howard.
