There are many now available in the Philippines and I have tried a few.  Many I have not tried.  Some say Irvin’s is still the best.  So to each his own and it’s nice that now there are varieties and different versions – so I am sure you will find one you will like.

 Mission accomplished !  Cecile’s @cecilelilles closest friends and I convinced her to offer her famous pâté!

She makes a delicious chicken liver pate and she’s famous for it.   She used to sell it before but could not cope with the orders. So the good news is it is back!

After that we had merienda which was more like dinner!!!  AMAZING!!!

I asked Cecile how she learned how to cook and apparently she learned 20 years ago from Peregrine Cooking School owned by a British gentleman ( married to a Filipino ) who was a professor at Cordon Bleu. She had to go to class 6 hours a day every day for a year! It was worth it if you ask me #H2HChefs

Meeting Carmen

 Finally live in person – Carmen of @carmensbest !

Carmen is the youngest child of Paco and he named his ice cream after her when she was 13 years old. Fast forward 5 years after and now Carmen’s Best has 40 flavors and is the most premium Ice cream in the country 🙂  Congratulations Paco @pacomagsaysay and more power. Meeting Carment (2)Paco and Carmen shared with us 5 flavours!!
