At around 9pm, we arrived at the Jamba Juice launch, it was already finished as it started at 6pm. It seems everyone wanted to open and launch on 11.11.11. There were so many events that evening
This is what we saw when we arrived! WOW! It’s in the expansion of High Street and they are the first to open
The launch was over but many people were still lining up to get a taste of Jamba Juice 🙂
We saw Jim Fuentebella! Congratulations Jim! Jim is part of the family that owns Max Fried Chicken, Krispy Kreme and now Jamba Juice. He is in charge of Corporate Marketing for the 3 companies! Obviously he is doing a great job and he himself is creative on his own as he is a designer
Thank you Rica for inviting me over and explaining to me about the family business 🙂 Congratulations to you and Robert too! Robert is the cousin of Jim and is also part of the family. Robert told me that he now handles the franchising for Max’s.

Many other family members handle the day to day operations of each chain. It seemed like everyone had a part which I thought was nice.
And I asked Robert who the big boss was, I was waiting for him to say “ME” 🙂 but no, he said that they have a board of directors ( which comprises all of them in the business ) that meet and decide together! What a cool family!

Aside from being our Top Salesman for tickets and lootbags, We are so lucky to have our batchmate Jill who always makes sure that everyone is fed with her yummy caviar pie and recently I tasted her yummy lasagna!

This is Heart2Heart’s favorite bagoong! It is made by my Lola Charing’s cook, Julie! I tried to get the recipe from her, but she was secretive about it 🙂 But she gave me sort of an idea as to how she makes it

She frys some pork fat and leaves the small bits of fat and then adds the Barrio Fiesta bagoong. And what makes it also good is the bits of chicharon which she puts in it. Just chop it into small pieces and mix it into the cooked bagoong.

My friend Newton is always whispering to me and telling me that coconut oil is the best, it’s just that it is not being marketed well enough for people to understand it’s benefits. So Newton told me to buy coconut oil for cooking.
It normally does not say coconut oil in the packaging but when you look at the ingredients you will see it there
And Newton told me to look for the bottles that are not clear or see through
No CHOLESTEROL!

Bambi organized a dinner in honor of Ed and Andy who were also in London at the time we were all there. But at the same time, it was a celebration for her birthday. Happy Birthday Bambs! And not only was it her birthday, we celebrated her pregnancy!!! Finally!! Bambi is proof that the technique I recommended works!!!! She has been trying since they got married and finally she tried the technique and now she is pregnant!!!! CONGRATS Alexis and Bambs!!
