THE BEST MARIPOSAS IN TOWN are made by my friend, Randy! They are realy good and I like this cookie because it is sort of HEART shaped 🙂

You probably bump into Randy and his stall in the Salcedo market..he has many many other goodies!  And he never fails to share his new creations with me…such a nice guy!   More power to you Randy!

It was so nice to meet Maryrose and Liza, owners of Cake Avenue.  They are also Assumptionistas 🙂  I always pass by their shop which is under the overpass on my way from Power Plant Mall but I never get to stop.  Finally I featured them in the Baker’s Dozen ( Baker’s Bozen Celebrates Valentine February 11, 2009 ) and loved their Valentine offerings.   They told me that they started this business because aside from being good friends,  they have one thing in common….. they love to cook and bake!  🙂  

I tried their new product – Brazo de Yema!! YUMMY!!!!!! It is like brazo de mercedez but yema inside – a different textur.  They have it also in sugar free.

And this is their BEST BEST SELLER!  🙂  I tasted it and it is really really good!!!  A MUST TRY!!  I thought that my Lola’s cook was the only one who could bake the BEST Food for the Gods, but apparently, I have tried a few good ones already

Each tub is 520 ml of pure-white Italian yogurt goodness.  That’s almost 10%more product than a normal pint (475 ml).

Plus, our introductory price is only P 175 per tub.  So, its like getting 3 regular cups for the price of 2.

The tubs are pre-frozen solid in our stores each night for selling the next day.  This way, customers can bring them home and as long as they’re storedin coolers, they won’t melt fast.  And they can last up to 3 months inside the home freezer. It’s a great idea for home parties too as an alternative to ice cream.  And if some customers want to buy in TUBS freshly drawn in the store for immediate eating, they can do it too!!

Another brand of frozen yogurt!! I saw it while driving down Ortigas Ave. last year and then now they have a branch in Paseo Center.  This is my sister Margs’ favorite brand because she says it is more tangy…Two months ago, I went to get some and even took home some

Another pasalubong from Dad and Mom, Dulce Gatas!!!! Wow!! Yummy but very fattening!!  I told them, next time, I don’t want pasalubongs from Bacolod, I want to go with them so I can buy them myself 🙂

Dad and Mom came back from Bacolod and brought this pasalubong back for us. Pitaw or quail.  Mom said to fry it with garlic until crispy… 

This is how it came out….. reminds me of ropa vieja… IT IS SO YUMMY!!!!!!!  Me and my sister were complaining why we only got 1 bottle each…not enough 🙂 

I visited their website and found that they sell other things.  Mom said that they also have a restaurant in Bacolod called SWeet dreams where they sell also all their goodies.  I WANT TO GO TO BACOLOD!
