Golden Spoon, Japan

Two years ago, our friends, Howard and Lynn, took us to Golden Spoon in Palm Springs.  We all loved it, especially the kids

So when we found out they opened in Japan, we made sure we stopped by to get some! YUMMY!!!  The nice thing about Golden Spoon which is different from the other frozen yogurt shops is that:

1.)  they have plenty flavors to choose from – they don’t carry all at once but they rotate the flavors

2.)  It is CREAMY and tastes like PREMIUM ICE CREAM. You can’t believe it is yogurt! One reason maybe the kids really love it

We hope we can have this in the Philippines!!!!  Who knows ? 

Golden Spoon Tokyo – this branch was situated beside a skating rink in a mall.  It was a small one and had only 3 flavors to choose from

Golden Spoon, Universal City Walk, Osaka – this branch was a much bigger one!  They had maybe 15 to 20 flavors to choose from

The White Hat is now open at Rustan’s Supermarket Makati!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!  I am so happy there is frozen yogurt now at Rustan’s!!  It makes it more convenient for me as I am always there.  YUMMY!!! They opened last Friday and I saw them while doing my grocery

Convenience stores

And if drinks from vending machines are not enough, there are many many convenience stores around the city!! Round the clock 24 hours! Like having Starbucks in every block 🙂 Lawson has the best selection among the ones we have been to.  I wish COOP ( Sango and Coop March 1, 2007 ) ( New Snack Discoveries at Coop March 28, 2008 ) were still open 🙁

Malunggay Pesto

Thanks to T. Manfred and T. Chinggay for this Malunggay pesto!  What a great idea to use malunggay for pesto.

Project Moringa Tree in creating awareness on the benefits of the Moringa tree (Malunggay)  

 T. Chinggay also told me that for Christmas, she always makes it a point to help outreach, livelihood programs and charitable organizations. What a nice gesture!

The White Hat

I heard about White Hat so I went all the way to Mall of Asia just to try it!!!  And….. I love it too!!!

Soon they will open in Rustan’s Supermarket Makati! Around end of November.  I can’t wait!!!!!!!

Fro Yo’s

My cousin, Robbie, heard about my love for yogurt and told me about his frozen yogurt!  I was so happy that he told me about it and immediately I ordered all the flavors!!

My favorite flavors are Vanilla, Strawberry Berry and Coffee.  It is more tarty than my favorite frozen yogurts that come from the machine, but I like it also.  YUMMY!!! I LOVE FROZEN YOGURT!!! I love hearing that it is healthy.  How can something healthy taste so good?  🙂
