The next level of combat gaming is now here!
After Airsoft and Paintball comes Triassic Tag, a version of Battlefield Live, a new live action combat game using completely safe infra red light technology.
Triassic Tag is the first in the country and is
Enchanted Kingdom’s latest attraction.  The gadgets used in the game are built and developed in Australia and utilize infra red light technology instead of paint balls and compressed air.

21.jpg
According to Triassic Tag arena Scottish game operator, Ian Meikle, the infra-red technology makes the game a fun and safe game to play for everybody.  Meikle, a former engineer of the British Army, Corps of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (R.E.M.E.) for over 15 years remarks, “There are NO physical missiles that can hurt players.  Players consistently comment that they had more fun than expected.” “Nothing comes closer to real combat battle than this,” adds Ian, who was also trained in unarmed combat, jungle warfare, winter survival, and winter warfare.   “The weapons fire a high velocity infra red light bullet (pulse) that is detected by sensors worn on the head and on the gun.  When players are hit, the gun makes a loud noise, the sensors flash and indicates that the player loses a “life.”  Each player is given five lives, although the guns can be set for different numbers of lives.  The weapon also displays ammunition left,” says Peter Stevens, Operations Director of Triassic Tag and a former Senior Superintendent of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force for 21 years.   In the game played most commonly called, “Death Match,” once a player has been hit five times, the gun makes a louder noise and turns off, preventing cheating.  The player then needs to go back to the team referee for re-spawning (resetting) of the gun, so that the player can go back and re-join the game.  The team that loses the least number of lives wins.

“The game guarantees minutes of adrenaline-pumping action that is definitely something new for the park guests, the excitement actually stays with you,” adds Peter.

Apple pie three ways

By | Cheese, Yummy! | 5 Comments

Heart2Heart is featuring these three apple pies not only because they are yummy but because they are made in three different unique ways.  There was another apple pie with caramel sauce that was really yummy but we cannot contact the person anymore.  One of the BEST apple pies!  Hope to find her again one of these days.

The two of course are with CHEESE and have to be Heart2Heart’s favorite and the other one has a unique topping that makes it super yummy!!

Tita Rose’s version is without a crust. It is just the apple pie filling and it has a cheesy topping.  Love the cheese topping!!!!

Ananyana Resort, Bohol

By | Travel | 4 Comments

Thanks to Pael and Yvonne for introducing to us this ENCHANTING place!

221.jpg

Our group wanted to go somewhere we have never been to and this was a great choice!  There are only 12 rooms and we used up 6 rooms so we practically had the place to ourselves.  It was like our own private resort.   It is only 5,000 sq. meters and from any part of the resort, you can see almost everything going on so it was easy to track the kids playing around.

Ananyana will always bring back good memories for all of us.

MARC JACOBS HITS THE MANILA FASHION SCENE

Fashion’s coolest and most influential designer, Marc Jacobs, is out to captivate Manila. Avid followers of this seasoned designer will find a lively collection of handbags, small leather goods and shoes in the recently opened Marc Jacobs Collection Accessories store in Greenbelt 4. With just under twenty freestanding Collection stores worldwide, it is a real privilege that his store has just hit the Manila fashion scene!

Born in New York and a graduate of Parsons School of Design, Jacobs established his own brand in 1997 under LVMH along with his longtime business partner Robert Duffy. Since then, the Marc Jacobs brand has become an eponymous empire that includes not just Marc Jacobs, but also the Marc by Marc Jacobs label.  As Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton, Jacobs is responsible for many of the French luxury house’s lines including handbags, men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, shoes and small leather goods. With eight full-scale runway productions a year, Jacobs is a very busy man flying in and out of the dynamism of New York and the elegance of

Paris. Such lifestyle is reflected in his own Marc Jacobs Collection line—a peculiar combination of elegance and youth, subtlety and non-conformity. 709959275503_0_bg.jpg

Touring Bohol

By | Travel | 6 Comments

We went to Bohol over the weekend and did the tour that everyone takes.

580866775503_0_alb.jpg

I was wondering why during my inquiries among friends and family about Bohol tours, no one ever mentioned the man made forest full of mahogany trees planted by the boy scouts in 1956.  This was my favorite among all.  It was beautiful just driving through it and standing in the middle of all the tall trees.   Something maybe you will see abroad but something I have not seen in the Philippines ever yet.

Cupcake wishes!!

By | Celebrations, Great Ideas | 2 Comments

mischka.jpg

My sister had a great idea for our mom’s birthday.  She told me to go buy some cupcakes..so i went to Gonuts Donuts to buy some.  They had many fancy designs.

Instead of the traditional birthday cake, each of us made our wishes for Mom and gave a cupcake to her to blow.  It was a nice and unique way to greet her…..
