Day 2 Game drive 730am at the Masai Mara – I heard that in some reserves it is hard to spot animals, but not in the Masai Mara.  There are many all over.  One of the 7 Wonders of the World is the Great migration in the Masai Mara which happens from July to November. It’s a pity we did not see it.  A good reason to come back to the Masai 🙂 #masaimara #thegreatmigration #natgeo#safarilive #h2hsafari #a2asafaris Game Drive Day 2 (2)

Breakfast at Angama Mara (12) Breakfast at Angama Mara (11) Breakfast at Angama Mara (8) Breakfast at Angama Mara (16)  When you look out to the Masai Mara it looks like there is nothing but trees. But if you use your binoculars or through a telescope, you will see animals all over the place. So sad to be leaving this beautiful place. I hope to come back to witness the great migration and this scenenery will change and you will see millions of animals especially the Wildbeests that will eat the grass here and cross the Masai river and move on to their next destination ?? Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.
Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment.
The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.
There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve.
Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).( magicalkenya.com ) #masaimara #kenya #h2hsafari #a2asafaris #Breakfast at Angama Mara (1)breakfast view angama mara2Breakfast at Angama Mara (3)Breakfast at Angama Mara (2)
