TAYLOR SCHILLING (Nominee for Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy) wearing red satin strappy platform sandals and a red satin clutch with silver details.Â
I first heard about Amarie when I saw this post of Ina Ayala in Instagram.  It was love at first sight 🙂
When they first launched MaArte, I met Anne Marie Saguil, the beautiful lady behind Amarie.  Tita Cedie and her were both in Amarie that day 🙂
It was a signature look that you can easily spot. Â I compiled some photos with ladies wearing Amarie. Â Heart2Heart loves the design because it is very Filipiniana – a different take on the barong but for ladies. Â LOVE IT!

Before our grill came, this long platter arrived!! Lupa or cold sides for the roast. Shiitake with balsamic vinegar, roasted garlic, black olives tapenade, artichoke purée, string beans with corn and bbq, chimichurri sauce, shiitake with chimichurri, couscous, green olive tapenade, mini caprese, coleslaw with radish, cherry tomato with almond and alfalfa – all yum ?? It’s refillable!!! James said we can cancel our order na haha!!

Pollo Grillado which was half a chicken and we shared it.  It was so good!!!  It came with hot sides so you can have it with the cold and the hot sides all together.  We were so full! 🙂

Rogel de Dulce de Leche which was so rich and so yum! Â La Cabrera is known for this! Â All the portions in the restaurant are very generous
Torre de Chupetenes. Â Love these small gestures that cap off a great meal
The wall of chopping boards 🙂  with messages from famous people and friends
And Heart2Heart haha!! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
So Namit these spreads from Ina Vargas! I am putting a photo here of Ina because I want to show you how beautiful she is 🙂  The beautiful lady behind Namit 🙂  She recently got married in late 2013 so this is one of her bridal photos. And yes she is the grand daughter of Lola Mameng of Vargas Kitchen, and the cousin of Mig Vargas of Bucky’s.  It’s all in the family really! 🙂
I received the original Namit from my cousin Bea for Christmas
Previous entry: Â Truffle Spreads January 2, 2014

My Dad is Ilonggo and I can understand when he speaks and the word NAMIT is always used when in the dining table 🙂
All Namit dips can be used in many ways! Â Put it on burgers, steak, pasta, sandwiches etc. Â
Art Fair Philippines, the premiere platform for exhibiting the best in Philippine contemporary art, will take place from February 5-8, 2015 in Makati City. After two highly successful runs, the fair once again transforms The Link, the car park building in Ayala Center, into an enclave for the country’s top galleries. To widen the selection of the art on view, the 2015 roster also includes participants from around the Southeast Asian region. A curated section of solo presentations by the most exciting names in Philippine art will complement the gallery features.
Bravo to the Organisers of Art Fair!  Trickie Lopa,  Liza Periquet and Dindin Araneta.  Every year it is getting bigger and bigger – bigger space, more galleries, more attendees and more interest in Philippine Art 🙂
Roberto Feleo, professor, and mentor to a generation of artists, takes over the central exhibit space in The Link’s sixth level to debut life-sized pieces that delve into a pivotal point in Philippine history.Â
. In consultation with Dr. Patrick Flores, curator of the Philippine pavilion to the 56th Venice Biennale, a portion of the car park’s seventh level will highlight pieces by Poklong Anading, Annie Cabigting, Buen Calubayan, Mariano Ching and Yasmin Sison, Kawayan de Guia, Alfredo Esquillo Jr., Geraldine Javier, and Maria Taniguchi. These special exhibits showcase works conceptualized for Art Fair Philippines 2015.
Mike Adrao’s highly detailed drawings imbue the fair’s reception area with a socio-political gothic vibe.

As in 2014, Christie’s will run Art Fair Philippines’ lecture series, Christie’s Art Forum. An array of talks designed to deepen the interest of enthusiasts is planned to run daily for the duration of the fair.
Spaces for thirty-three galleries, eight of them based outside the Philippines, will spread out over two levels. The 2015 participating galleries are: 1335 Mabini, Altromondo, Archivo, Arndt, Art Cube, Artesan, Art Informal, Art Verite, Avellana Art Gallery, Blanc, Boston Gallery, CANVAS, Crucible, Edouard Malingue Gallery, Equator Art Projects, Finale Art File, Galeria Duemila, Galerie Michael Janssen, J Studio, MO_, Nova Gallery, Nunu Fine Art, Pablo, Paseo Gallery, ROH Projects, Salcedo Private View, Secret Fresh, Silverlens, TAKSU, The Drawing Room, Tin-Aw Art Gallery, Vinyl on Vinyl, West Gallery.

After seeing Pope Francis this morning I rushed home because I had a lunch with my friends.  It was a get together with the London gang and last Saturday I had an idea !! To celebrate Pope Francis’ visit – I will make it a “Pope Party” 🙂  Truly an event worth celebrating!! All celebrations in the house will always have a theme this year.  It’s a good and blessed start to celebrate Pope Francis.  We LOVE him because he brings us closer to GOD.  I am having Pope Fever 🙂  and I wish we could celebrate Pope everyday 🙂  which means celebrating GOD
Pope centerpiece 🙂  I had to make do with what I had and what was available
Thanks to Don Bosco religious store I found all these photos of Pope Francis 🙂
I bought these t-shirts from Radio Veritas where I bought the life size Pope.  I made the staff wear it 🙂  Not too flattering maybe but never mind It was okay 🙂
Buffet table set up 🙂

I put Andy in the middle of the table where Pope Francis’ photo was – and when he stood there we all laughed because we all noticed he looked like the Pope haha!!!  So photo opportunity!! 🙂
I told everyone to come in white in honour of Pope Francis 🙂  And of course we included him in our group photo 🙂 Â
Everytime I have a celebration in the house, there is always a giveaway.  For the Pope Party of of course it was Pope Francis giveaways:-)  Each Pope bag had a Pope Calendar, key chain, book mark and some Herr’s snacks 🙂  Beautiful rosary bracelets with the Pope were also there for those who wanted

Last night at 6pm I was having second thoughts on seeing the Pope so I already decided that I was not anymore going. This morning I woke up at 530am and was thinking about it all night, so at 615am I decided I was going to go! NO REGRETS!!!! I did not want to regret not seeing the Pope while he is here in our country!! I went to bootcamp at 630 and exercised for 20 minutes haha!! then picked up my son Javier who last minute missed school so he could see the Pope too. I was so happy he came along!!
So lucky today! We went with the Lopa family to see the Pope! Ms. Lopa who was my teacher in Assumption high school, Alesso, Tita Cora the mom of my batch mate Rhea and Nanette sister of my sister in law Krie ! They live so near Roxas Boulevard so they went everyday to see the Pope!!
We went in style – they had a ladder to help us up to go over to the other side of Roxas Blvd haha!! Love adventures like these
As soon as we crossed the other side of Roxas Boulevard I spotted a place where I could stand!!
I put my hand there – meaning RESERVED!! 🙂  We waited about an hour here waiting for Pope FrancisÂ
Javier was even able to join me as well in that spot.  People were kind.  Maybe it was the last day and they had seen Pope already! 🙂  But nevertheless, they were kind to make us cut through that small space
The secret is to make friends with the police and the people by the barricade !  🙂  We were able to make singit and be right in front.
Before the Pope arrived, I was hoping I would get an opportunity to be invited to see the Pope, but did not receive any. Â So I had no plans of going to join the crowd. Â But on the day Pope Francis arrived and saw the overwhelming posts of everyone, I wanted to feel what they felt. Â So I mentioned it to my family and my sister in law Krie pointed me to her sister Nanette who took us with them. Â God had something to do with this and I am sure it was Him who brought me here today and He wanted it to be this way. Â I wanted to see the Pope together with everyone else and feel the same way they felt. Â I loved being with the kids who were also waiting and chanting. Â And even if maybe there would have been a possibility for me to see Pope Francis maybe in the Vatican, I don’t think it would be the same as seeing him together with my fellow Filipinos in our very own country. Â TRULY BLESSED!!!
And because we waited for about an hour I made kwento with them 🙂  These policemen are from Laguna and just from their area they are 20,000!!

The whole passageway of the Pope is lined with policemen. And they told me that they have been in Manila since Jan 11! So for 9 days they lived in Cuneta Astrodome and slept there sitting up! Â :-O Yet I told them they are so lucky to serve the Pope!

One of the policemen even took the video for me, James Floria
Kids waiting to see Pope Francis and they were so cute – they were the ones chanting and shouting ” Viva Il Papa!”
Helicopters flying around means the Pope is near!! 🙂
Up to now my  heart is beating fast with excitement. My heart is so happy!!!  GOD LOVES US! GOD LOVES THE PHILIPPINES!!! This is proof !  thank you to the policeman James Floria for taking the video. I was able to concentrate on shouting and looking at the Pope in that short time
Here is the video Policeman James Floria took for me – This is the full version with all the voices. Â “steady ka lang ha, steady lang ha!” Â with the cute kids chanting ” Viva Il Papa” and the girl screaming there is me haha!!
And this is the slow motion version
