Congratulations to The owners of Meat Plus Specialists Philippines on the opening of Fireside – Tito Toti, Tita Vilma and Chef Chiloy Santos, Michelle and Bambi Meer, Tita Apples and Tito Spanky Meer, Tito Bob Tenchavez -( not in photo Paquito and Pinky Tanjangco.) They started in 1994 with their first restaurant in Subic called Meat Plus. In 2000 they opened Tender Bobs in Libis and the rest is history. I admire them for being able to work together in a business and still remain friends. That’s not usually easy and yet they continue to be friends and at the same time, they are successful. How lucky! MORE POWER!!! And keep opening many more happy places to dine in

Last night, God finally took my Lola, Rosario Soriano Lopez, and she joined my Lolo in heaven. My Lolo left her around thirty years ago and Lola stayed on with us to take care of all of us.
She was the one who brought our family together and kept us united. We are truly blessed to have been given such a loving, simple and kind Lola to look up to. Lola was a very hard person to impress because she never asked for anything nor needed anything more than what she already had – which was her sisters and her family.
She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. We are similar in some ways – she loved cheese, she doesn’t talk much and we don’t like our photo to be taken – but she always let me take her photo 🙂
I am so happy that my children got to know their great grand Lola.
I never wanted to regret not being able to spend time with my Lola so I set aside my Saturdays for her. I will miss seeing her every Saturday but she will forever be in my heart She was 95 years old and lived a full and happy life. She is in heaven now
