Back at Discovery Shores after 5 years

So happy to be back at Discovery Shores after five years!! The last time we were here was during Gil and Christine’s wedding and we had many happy memories. This trip we requested for pool side rooms so it is easier access to the beach and the pool! The best location for us. Thank you to Discovery Shores for granting our request 🙂

Our room was right next to the gym. We used it only once haha!!

Love our Burberry personalised bears 🙂 And our complimentary sunblock!! Beach Hut and VMV Hypoallergenics 🙂 Always the best amenity in a beach resort.

Love this!!

I was jetlagging so I was the only one awake at 5am- the best time in the resort!!!

I literally had the beach all to myself!!! The best time to swim! :0)

Un Voyage En Provence

This is my favourite packaging by the Fruit Garden 🙂 I love how every time they are always updating their packaging and how every time it is thought out so well by Pierre and Ria. There is always a story behind everything they do. This year the inspiration is Provence

Pancho and Desiree Wedding Ceremony

It was an honour for us to be a part of this wedding being a friend to PepeWhat a beautiful venue for the wedding. Pancho told us that when they went with their wedding planner to look for venues for the wedding, there was no need to look further as soon as Desiree saw this place. It was the first and the last for viewing 🙂

The wedding was supposed to be held out in the garden but because of the rain, it was done indoors. Pancho and Desiree chose this time of the year to have the wedding because historically the weather is perfect with a cool temperature and just enough sun after the summer season. But it rained that day which is actually not so bad – it’s good luck:-)

Everyone was busy the morning of the wedding but we were lucky to have breakfast with the beautiful mother of the groom, Therese and Richard We ate at the cafe by the hotel for breakfast, funny sign by the waiting area 🙂

Night Before the Wedding

Grand Residences by Marriott Lake Tahoe

Our home for two nights in Lake Tahoe

Love the acrylic reindeers in the reception

Not one room is alike because the owners design their own spaces. When they are not using their place, they put it in the pool and can be rented out

A few meters away from the hotel is a stoplight and after the stoplight is the border of Reno Nevada. And you will see already three Casinos 🙂 Harrah’s, Harvey and Montbleu
