We heard about this restaurant from Randy and Candy and during the long weekend, we decided to try it anticipating that there would be no hassle to get here and it won’t be too crowded. It’s a residential building located in Pasong Tamo across Don Bosco. The original branch of this is in Binondo so it’s a good thing it is now in Makati! My sister Margs told me that her friend, Edu Manzano is part owner of this branch 🙂
Love their promo!!! What a great deal!!!
They just opened in April so the place is relatively brand new 🙂

Private room with Karaoke feature 🙂 for those that want to sing while eating 🙂 There are two of these. The other one is bigger and even has a sofa

Napkins come in this tissue holder
We were only three so we could not order much. Hoping to go back with the family so we can try the seafood dishes

Roasted Layer pork Macau Style – YUM! Small size
Fried rice with abalone which was not on the menu

Heart2Heart went to visit Discovery Suites in Ortigas
To try Prime 22 at the 22nd floor 🙂
I asked them what the best seat in the house is and it is this one. It is the corner table and the curtains can be closed to make it private. It is good for two up to four people
There is also this area which they can set up for couples so that you can have a view 🙂
Prime22 was put up a few years ago during the time when there was a steak craze in Manila. But aside from great steak, Prime22 has other dishes that are not steak and that are still good!! We tried the September specials and they were all so good!!

Veal Snitzel with Marble Potato and Wilted Spinach
Seared Ahi Tuna with Arugula Salad
Chicken Mushroom Risotto with Parmesan Crisp

Herbed Crusted Fish with crusted potato, french beans and spicy tomato sauce
And to prepare for the steak – CHOOSE YOUR WEAPON! 🙂
Metal knives in different colors and the classic wooden knife
USDA Angus Prime Sirloin
In the other table, I saw around 3 of these Tomahawk Steaks!! It’s bigger than it looks in the photo and it seemed like a popular dish!
Coffee Tiramisu
The General Manager of Discovery Suites, Leeds Trompeta, who used to be assign in Discovery Shores Boracay!! I remember him when we stayed there before
I caught her making pochero that morning. The family sometimes makes her cook some of our favourite dishes. She will just tell you the ingredients that she needs and when you ask her how much is her fee, she says “Ikaw ng bahala” 🙂 I know that she does not really teach people her recipes but when I was talking to her that day, I told her that she has to teach them to someone and she said, ” Tinuturo ko sila pero hindi nila magaya” 🙂
I discovered a secret thing she did while she was cooking pochero – I asked her what that thing was with the bone – apparently she put the Jamon bone! She gets it from the leg of Jamon which my Lolo buys and serves for himself and for the family and she keeps the bone and uses it to flavour the pochero and maybe other dishes too 🙂
Ready to go! Sauce will be on the side when it gets to the venue
I told you she always gives me baon!!! She set aside a few pieces of pochero to take home!! Oops I hope Tita Nena does not get mad – this was her Pochero 🙂

Enjoyed so much our Italian Feast at Il Ponticello! It was a holiday and the area was so quiet around the building so it was so pleasant and when you get to Il Ponticello, it’s a totally different world with good vibes 🙂 and good food of course 🙂 It was truly a feast because there was so much food and for a very reasonable price. I was told that they are planning to do this for holidays and weekends

Lovely couple, Ren Ren and Ivy Reyes who are part owners
Steve and Imy Magdaraog, also part owners 🙂
Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend, Cat Ilacad!! I was so happy she invited me to join her birthday party. She has plenty plenty friends and I understand why – she is the sweetest ever 🙂 She told me that it always rains during her birthday and this year she wanted a backyard party. So instead of having it in a backyard, she brought the backyard indoors 🙂 She even had fake grass for the flooring 🙂 Love the theme! So young and happy just like her! More power to you Cat!! I wish only the best for you!
