We were only in London for a few days but I think we were here almost everyday! 🙂
Glad that they are open everyday and not only on weekends
We even had a map and itinerary included by my cousin, Ria, with some chosen stops.
I had to separate from the group because I wanted to see each and every booth!
Cute booth!!! Heart cookies and cupcakes that look like Frozen yogurt swirls! I love the icing on cupcakes and this cupcake has generous icing portions 🙂 and those Gigantic meringues!!!

This reminded me of my friend, the Paella Queen, Margie Sy 🙂 Really gigantic paelleras filled with different paellas
This guy was just giving out paella samples to everyone 🙂
Loved this booth! Swiss cheeses!

Ria pulled me again to this cheese in this Swiss booth! YUM!!!
You will get full from all the tasting!! Taste and taste all you want! 🙂
My sister said the Greedy goat ice cream is so good – Flavor – APPLE PIE!

Gigantic meringues!!
Restos and pubs alongside the market

I was able to bring in a few stuff which I wanted to share at H2Hs Favorite things 🙂 Wafers so you can make your own Ice cream sandwich!
Valor chocolate for desserts
YUM YUM!
Kinder Bueno White! Yum Yum!
Argan Body Cream
Discovered this yummy Tostadas this trip! You can eat it like a cookie – tastes sort of like otap but thinner and they use olive oil. Or you can use it as an accessory for a dessert dish – put ice cream or anything on top
Discovered this while riding the bus in Spain – the bus was automatically emitting this scent and I asked the driver what it was! It was Nenuco spray! 🙂 So I bought the spray version! Nice to spray the home as well – only a few pieces of this

One of Mom’s choices from her Michelin book
Bar and Bakery on the main floor
Walk up to the main dining of the restaurant. Very simple interiors.
Happy to see Kai, my sister’s best friend, who lives in London!
Nose to Tail eating!
Salsify, Leeks and Watercress
Madeleines fresh from the bakery! Super yum!

My cousin, Ria, took me to this place because she knows I love cheese!! She loves cheese too 🙂
I wanted to have raclette!!!

But Ria pulled me to the other side of the booth for the Toasted Cheese sandwich!! She said not to get the raclette but to get this!
I love how they put the cheese inside the sandwich!! ( Check out my video in instagram )
Ria said they put 5 kinds of onions – they insert this into the pile of cheese that is already inside the bread before putting it on the griller
HERE IT IS!!!! SUPER YUMMY!!!!!!!! Crunchy, crispy, cheesy, oniony 🙂 A MUST!!
Ria’s friend who went around the market with his bottle of truffle oil. He was putting truffle oil on everything 🙂 He added it too to the toasted cheese sandwich! WOW!!

The highlight of our London Trip was seeing and spending time with our dear friends, Suharto and Rina
It’s been more than ten years since we visited them.
In 2002, we came over for a few days and Quinto was still a baby!
We stayed with them in their beautiful flat for a few days
And in this very hectic and short trip that we had, we were happy to spend some time with them. We had one morning with them of sightseeing and reminiscing and then we were able to squeeze in a quick lunch!
After meeting the Mayor, nearby were restaurants by the river and they took us to The Strada More London
Since we had little time, we had to order quick so we had many appetizers which I enjoyed the most!
Funghi al Forno!! YUM!!! I really liked this!
and this Mozzarella di Bufala with Salsa Verde and foccacia croutons! YUM!
Shared a pizza and received a panic call from Dad and Mom looking for us! 🙂 So we had to rush out!

From the Shard, we did a little more sightseeing by foot
Towards the river. View of old buildings with modern buildings at the back
And while we were walking, Suharto and James spotted the Mayor!!
His office is right by the London Bridge so maybe he was going out to have lunch
More modern buildings in the area
Read more about our encounter in Mons Tantoco Romulo’s column at the Philippine Star 🙂 plus other famous person encounters
