Last July 9, Yaya Nenita celebrated her 60th birthday! I saw this post by my cousin, Marie and remembered Yaya Nenita as a kid! 
I remember her as the Yaya of Marie ( I love this photo! ) But she was Yaya to Dino and Jaime and everyone else!
Yaya Nenita was a staple in all our gatherings and I remember her when we used to stay in Tita Merl’s house when Dad and Mom would go on trips abroad.
35 years ago, June 11, 1977 to be exact, Yaya Nenita worked with Tita Merl and till today she is the yaya of Dino’s daughter, Sofie. She is part of the family!!…and yes a second mother to the Pinedas! This kind of loyalty and dedication is very rare nowadays!
Happy 60th to our 2nd mom, our walking&talking memory bank, our resident history buff, movie musical lover, and natural remedies guru! Yaya nenita 4ever!!!!!!
Special mention as well are Conchita and Yaya Sion who have been with my Lolo and Lola til this day. Conchita was the Yaya of my lola around 50 years ago! and Yaya Sion around 41 years ago since 1971. She was the yaya of Tita Tess and when she moved to Rome with my Lolo and Lola, she learned how to cook Italian and from then on cooked for the family!
We love all the Yayas who have been with our family since forever till today!!!

Heart2Heart went to visit the Spa Wellness Center in Fort Bonifacio High Street
They have Barre studio, The Spa and the new Skin Dermatology and Laser Center which opened about a year and a half ago

I was supposed to have a Diamond peel but they noticed that my skin was sensitive, so they refrained from doing the procedure.
I had a facial instead which was really very relaxing at the same time very healthy for my skin!

And here is Peter Allison! I actually find him cute 🙂 When he starts to talk he reminds me of Crocodile Dundee. He told me that he lives in Cape Town behind the mountains with 4 horses and he just jumps on one when he wants to go somewhere 🙂 He goes around the mountain to get to work which is around 20 minutes away

Peter’s talk was not the usual sales or marketing talk, but he showed us photos from his safari adventures! It was very interesting because he knows about animal behavior. We probably will not be able to tell what animals are doing when we take their photos, but Peter knows and has a story behind every photo he takes
One day, I am going to take my own photos and tell my own African Safari story….. one day! 🙂 and who knows, maybe Peter Allison will be my safari guide! Woohoo!

A few months ago we saw this very interesting building in San Antonio village, a few meters away from where VP Binay lives
We saw this sign so we decided to look and inquire just to see how the inside looks. Notice the stairs leading up high- apparently it gets flooded in the area
