Mom discovered this place through her readings and because she loved her first buy, she told me she had to go back to Macau to buy this dried fish. I would not be surprised that is why we went to Macau! There are quite a few vendors selling dried fish, but Mom says this is the BEST! ” It is not the same!!” She always tells me this when she is trying to prove a point to me. She even said that people from Hong Kong come all the way to Macau to buy this dried fish. Mom said to just eat it like tuyo or put it in your fried rice like the salted fish fried rice
The place is somewhere near Senado Square. It is a bit difficult to use a car or taxi here because the street is a no stopping street. But somehow we managed!
They give you the fish to smell….everyone smells it acting as if they can tell by smelling 🙂
Mom and the owner of the shop
Then we have it cut already, so there is this guy that has this gadget to cut it
he is so proud to show it and he also makes you smell it after cutting it 🙂
I don’t know the other things they sell, but they have plenty other chinese ingredients
They pack it so well, you can pack it in your suitcase and it won’t smell 🙂 I will try to document one time how Mom cooks this

Urban Amazon – Express Yourself!
To celebrate the feminine power of the Woman of Today, Misaki introduces its new collection “Urban Amazon”.
Brandishing her jewellery as sophisticated and contemporary weapons this new Amazon imposes her strong personality by re-appropriating those powerful symbols and nothing can resist her. Artfully assembled to glorify the feminine power of seduction, the “Urban Amazon” collection is an allegory of the personality of the Woman of the 21st Century: tough, independent, successful, sexy and stylish.
This powerful collection is a perfect melting pot of long sautoirs, imposing rings, dominant symbols and trendy designs. Misaki will also launch new effervescent colors such as Champagne to enhance the originality and the delicacy of those pieces. To embody the multi-faceted nature of each Woman, some lines will play with the duality of matt black and silky white pearls introducing a special iridescent finish.
“One is not born a woman, one becomes one”. Simone de Beauvoir
Misaki is exclusively available at Rustan’s Makati and Shangri-laPlaza.
There is the Grand Lisboa which is the new hotel and casino and there is the old Hotel Lisboa. We had dinner in the old Hotel Lisboa where they had this very good Chinese restaurant. Also in the Michelin guide.
They recommended the Crystal prawn, very expensive and it comes by piece. It was a big prawn and it was really good
They recommended their sweet and sour pork which was really good
Pigeon
Complimentary dessert which was like “Salabat” or ginger tea
Owner of the Grand Lisboa
And again in the Hotel Lisboa lobby are some precious items displayed
Across our hotel ( Wynn ), is the Grand Lisboa which used to be the only Casino in Macau and owned by Stanley Ho. He monopolized the industry for many years. You can take an underground subway to cross the street to get to the Grand Lisboa
When you go to Macau, you see things which you cannot imagine exist and see it right before your eyes. This is a 200 carat diamond which was encased in the lobby of the Grand Lisboa. A 200 carat diamond D Flawless and Brilliant!!!! The photo didn’t come out clear
And they had other precious things displayed in the lobby

The mood is classic elegance, with a quirky English preppy twist–small motifs on jumpers and cardigans adding a studious edge to summer style. Free-flowing shapes in delicate lace exude femininity and an summery air, while nautical stripes add a feel of mature sophistication. Think traditional Cornwall seaside meets French Riviera chic. A popular place recommended by many. One of the reasons I love Macau is because of its Portuguese influence. I like Portuguese food because it is similar to Spanish in many ways. This was our first dinner in Macau. We were actually very full form lunch so we were not able to order too many dishes but we enjoyed our meal
The place is very very small and you really have to make a reservation to make sure you get a seat. Some people were knocking on the door who had no reservations and they had to be turned down
Of course we felt at home because all of the dining staff are Filipinos! And we get special treatment 🙂 And true enough they told us many Filipinos come to Antonio to dine
For the cheese lovers out there, please please do not leave Antonio without having this dish! Gratinated Goat’s Cheese with Olive Oil and Acacia Honey Served on Toast, Lettuce and Balsamic Vinegar. YUMMY!!
Of course Bacalao – this was the version with cream and cheese

Dad and Mom told us about this and Javier could not stop nagging them to bring us here!! It’s by the Shops at Four Seasons which is near the Venetian. It’s an experience you should not miss!
There are 3 pools with 3 sizes of fish
Small
Medium
Large- takes a bit more courage to do this because they have bigger mouths…. but eventually it is okay
Locker to put your things
Then they give you croc like slippers
Then they wash your feet first
It took us quit some time to get used to it since it was our first time. Except for Dad and Mom
Funny reactions! Took them so long before they actually kept their legs steady inside the pool
Bonding for us 🙂 Dad didn’t join anymore since he said he did it already. hmmmm 🙂
If you want more fish to go to you, I suggest you go to a pool where you can have the pool to yourself so all the fish will go to you! You will have more nibblers 🙂
When we checked in the hotel, it was past lunch already so we were hungry. We drove past the bridge to get to the other side to get to Hyatt hotel to try Beijing Kitchen. IT WAS WORTH IT!!!
Mom read it in her guide
Love the collection of teapots on the walls
Our table
Since we arrived at around 2pm already, the waitress told us that we would have to wait 30 minutes for a whole order of peking duck but we would get a half order right away – so of course we chose the half! 🙂 Maybe someone ordered half at the same time we arrived. We were so hungry and I guess good for us anyway not to have too much especially of the skin! It is WOOD FIRED OVEN Peking Duck!
They served it first all skin
Then the without skin
then with both 🙂 Love it!
Oh my gosh, love loved this fish- Crispy Mandarin Fish with Sweet and Sour Sauce
They thought the steamed pork dumplings was Xiao long bao but this is what came 🙂
The Wynn hotel is one of the newest hotels in Macau and we were happy to be here. It looks exactly like the Vegas hotel and even the rooms are the same. There are two towers – Encore Towers and Wynn Towers. We stayed at the Wynn Towers but James said we should have stayed at the Encore. I was already happy where we were…and so nice to have a nice home in Macau
Ralph who took care of us, he has been working for Steve Wynn for 25 years!
We got to tour one of the suites and WOW!!! LOVE IT!!!! Love the space and the VIEW!! This is the living room with the view of the Grand Lisboa and the fountain of the Wynn
You have the option to get the connecting room beside the suite which is good for families
