Previous entry: Our New Baby October 17, 2010
Thank you Tito Ralph and Tita Babot for the cute labrador!!!
We instantly fell in love with him and Javier named him Shadow. Nino came over to visit Shadow since Nino loves Labradors and has one at home as well
I was thinking of a guard dog for the new house and have been wanting a Labrador. Shadow is 3 months old and is already so big
Romeo has been playing with Shadow. We have to separate them for now because Romeo is quite aggressive..poor Shadow gets tired 🙂

Below Casa Vallejo is Hill Station. This is like the coffeeshop of restaurant of the hotel. I heard about this place from friends so I asked Dad and Mom to take me here. So this was our last stop before leaving Baguio
To me, as important as the food is the ambience of the restaurant. I like it when the place is clean, nice, cozy and comfortable. The feeling is light, happy and just give you an overall good feeling.
It’s a nice open space with a nice view and the beauty of Baguio is the weather is so nice so the windows were just all opened and it was just perfect that day
I asked the owner if I could take her photo for my website, so here she is 🙂 Mitos, the owner. I heard from Vicky Clemente that she is the daughter of the owner of Mario’s restaurant
There is a pasalubong corner where you can take home some of the restaurants creations
I like trying and seeing different and unique bread baskets and not always the usual french bread and butter. This was olive oil with like a spice, yummy!
Caesar Salad
Gambas Al Pilpil
Tex Mex Fries
Calamares with Paprika Mayo
Seafood Carbonara- but Mischka had the seafood removed
Chicken Biryani
Mini Blue Cheeseburgers
Crispy Duck Flakes – it should come with Laing but dad had it removed
Lechon Kawali with Laing sa Gata
Of course they have breakfast as they cater to the tenants of Casa Vallejo

There is this very cozy place for accomodations in Baguio called Casa Vallejo
I have not seen the rooms so I do not know…but the website looks cozy. Click below to go to the website:
In the complex is a restaurant, bookstore and a spa!
The bookstore is so nice and cozy as well
And the Spa!! I am going to try this the next time I go to Baguio!
It’s two floors, so there is a flight of stairs going down
And the girl told me that this is just a branch, they have a better one which is their main branch in this location, I am definitely going here next time

Our family grew up in Baguio and it will always have a special place in our hearts because of all the memories we have…..I looked back at old photos and started to reminisce.
When we come to Baguio, we spend most of our time in the house of Lolo which is so beautiful. Believe me when I say there is something magical about this house that makes us want to come back and come back
………….and til today we still continue to make memories. It’s our kids now that is enjoying Baguio and creating their own memories…..What we used to do when we were kids….our kids are doing now. I put together old photos of us as kids and matched them with present photos of our kids….It was amazing to see similar photos 🙂

One of the reasons the kids like going to Baguio is to be able to see and spend time with Alvin. Alvin is the son of the house caretaker of my Lolo. Since they were kids and up to now, they would do everything together as long as we were there in Baguio. Alvin is like their brother!
And every year, we put Jaime and Alvin side by side to see who is taller. Alvin is 14 and Jaime is 15…. hmmm….
Oooops….and another brother, Tito Quito!
