Each person has a unique way of expressing themselves and Toots does it through her works of art. I admire her for being able to cope with life and how she continues to keep her head up and have a positive outlook in life despite what she has been through. We will always be here to support you Toots
The show was jam packed at the Ayala Museum!! So many friends and family who all love Toots and supported her!

Since the owners want to remain anonymous, I did not know what to call the entry 🙂 But Heart2Heart is grateful to J & T for sharing their beautiful home with us and for allowing me to share it with all of you. It would have been a pity not to have shared it

Here is a closer look at the Chef from the Surprise birthday of Tess ( Surprise Birthday of Tess June 26, 2011 ), Farah Tolentino Ylagan.
I was truly amazed at how organized she was when I visited her inside the kitchen!
She had a checklist posted on the refrigerator door
and she had these photos of the plating for every dish as a guide for the servers!!

We were deeply honored to be part of the 40th birthday celebration of Tess. Thank you JP for inviting us and for sharing this special occassion with us. Happy Birthday Tess!!

We had an incredible dinner that evening!!!! I have been hearing about Farah Tolentino but have not ever tried her cooking yet till this evening. And wow!! LOVED IT!! We were lucky JP invited us since I don’t know if we will have many opportunities to have her food as she is very expensive and very very busy! She normally only caters for small groups of 10 to 12, but she especially did this group of about 40 for JP and Tess. Everything she made Heart2Heart enjoyed!!
Farah has a catering partner, Chef Chris Bautista. They work together- he is her pastry chef but he also does a lot of other prep work. That is him beside her in the photo. He is a graduate of the Paris Ritz Escoffier school where he specialized in pastry

Someone has written these beautiful words. Must read and try to understand the deep meaning of it. They are like the ten commandments to follow in life all the time.
1] Prayer is not a “spare wheel” that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a “steering wheel” that directs the right path throughout.
2] So a Car’s WINDSHIELD is so large & the Rear view Mirror is so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look Ahead and Move on.

Javier ( Previous entries: Chef Javs Feb 27, 2010 and Chef Javs Part 2 Jan 27, 2011) has attended already two classes at 25 Mushrooms Kitchen and he really learned a lot and is enjoying it. It’s s hard to find cooking classes when it is not summertime so I enrolled him at 25 Mushrooms. Sari told me that the class is taught in Filipino, and the more I liked it so Javier will learn to speak and practice his Filipino. He also has two classmates that are kids. Javier cannot stop talking about it and after ever session, he gets so excited and cooks something for dinner from what he learned that day. I am so happy he is busy every Tuesday and Thursday
Heart2Heart is so happy to have bumped into the owner Sari in an event. I keep featuring 25 Mushrooms Kitchen and hearing about it, but never met the one behind it. She is so pretty and so young. More power to you Sari and I hope you will continue to do this forever!
This is a new class this coming Tuesday!!
