Here is a map of the whole resort. You cannot find this in their website but it will hopefully help you choose what villa/suite you would like to stay in. Each one has their own preferences and needs so you might want to plan in advance
Villas by the Lagoon Pool
For the villas that do not have their own private pools, there is the Lagoon pool. It’s so nice because from your living room, you can just go out and go straight to the pool. And if you are a big family staying in the different villas nearby, you can just meet up in the pool. For families with kids, it will be easier for the parents to watch and monitor their kids in the pool while staying inside their villa or in the balcony of their villa. So it is very convenient.
There are different room options and kinds of villas, We were not able to go and check out each and every kind, so make sure to check on the configurations and features to be sure they meet your requirements
This was the suite we stayed in which is a 2 bedroom. Reminds me so much of Discovery Shores in Boracay as the original management was run by the same group as Discovery Shores, The Raintree Group. Though I heard they are not the ones managing it anymore at the time we were there
As you enter the door, it’s the living room but since it can be converted into another room, it was set up this way for the two kids. There is a door that connects to the bathroom of one of the bedrooms
and it has its own TV
Dining table leading to the lagoon pool
Balcony of the suite before you get to the lagoon pool
One of the bedrooms which can share a bathroom with the people staying in the living room. The layout is similar to Discovery Shores also
even the amenities remind me of Discovery Shores 🙂
The other bedroom which is the Master bedroom
with a big and beautiful bathroom 🙂
Beachfront Villas
All villas are facing the beach but you need to go down some stairs to get to the beach
This is suite 18 and 19 which is the farthest and nearest to the mountain
Villa 16 and 17 – Big Families like this because it is two suites together and connected like one house – plus it is very private as it is far away from the main area already and second closest to the mountain
Villa 15
If there is Villa 13 in Shang Boracay ( Villa 13 Shangri-la Boracay April 16, 2009), there is a Villa 11 in Misibis Bay. James and i are having an argument as to which one it should be whether Villa 11 or Villa 12.
Only because Villa 11, though it has its own private pool which faces the beach ,
to the right is the main infinity pool which is in the center of the resort and the center of the beach where all the cabanas are, so if there are people there, it might not be so private.
So James, prefers Villa 12 which is a little farther to the main pool but has more privacy and is beachfront
This is Villa 12 🙂
Always make sure to choose the location you like best so you will enjoy your stay. I am lucky my husband takes care of all the research before we get to our destination. What’s good for him is good for us 🙂

Why don’t you Be Stupid???
Visit Diesel Rockwell on May 1, 2010 and get a free BE STUPID t-shirt. Just wear any Diesel item, be it old or new, fall in line, and get a free t-shirt! Let’s all wear our stupid shirts with our heads held up high.
When somebody says “don’t be stupid”, what they’re really saying is “Don’t have fun. Don’t be daring. Don’t provoke. Bury your sense of humour. Get serious.”
So we say: “Get lost. We’re with stupid”
Stupid is the liberating alternative to dry-as-dust cerebral (so called “smart”) and it takes courage, loads!
Stupid is the very word all those folk use to dismiss anything original and genuine.
Stupid is about having the guts to risk, to take on the new and inventive, however dangerous.
Stupid is about passion, strange sex, wearing the wrong thing in the right place, swapping roles trying something new, failing, trying again – and failing better.
Stupid is about giving things away for free, like we’re doing on May 1, for the sheer joy of seeing people happy.
Falling in line and wasting your time is stupid. But who knows what you can get from it!
So we ask you, Diesel is stupid and thoroughly identifies with it and lives it as the clearest expression ever what the brand is standing for. So we say Be Stupid!!! Take risks and live your life.
Be Stupid calls out to each and every one of us. It’s the key to successful living. It’s about following your heart and not your head. You can’t outsmart stupid – so don’t try. Long live stupid.
In the Philippines, Diesel is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) and is available at Greenbelt 3, Power Plant Mall, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, and Robinson’s Place Manila.

And a beautiful resort…and when you come here, you don’t need to do anything or go anywhere else! Just stay here and relax and bond with your husband or your family

Three weeks ago, we went to Legazpi! Only less than an hour away from Manila! Here’s a nice shot taken by my cousin, Cat, who captured Mayon Volcano in the background, though it’s hiding behind the clouds 🙂
We did not stay in Legazpi – we were headed for a resort – so you can go by land for about an hour or by sea for about 30 minutes. But due to bad weather, they did not let us ride the boat. The land ride is a bit similar to the zig zag of Baguio since you go through mountains and winding roads
A few kilometers from the resort, you need to cross but since there is no bridge, we had to ride a barge to get across
Here it is coming to get us….
and here we are! LOVELY!! Heart2Heart likes the Philippine flag displayed in the entrance of the resort!
Necklaces made from leaves!! How creative

Summer’s finally here! But before heading off to that dream getaway, make sure you have all the essentials for a wonderful time in the sea or on the shore. Sunblock? Check. Sunglasses? Check. The perfect swimsuit? Fashionable flip flops to go with your outfit? Check. Hard to find indeed, but not if you shop at Rustan’s!
This season, there are no more excuses for so-so swimwear as the country’s premier department store once again opens up a treasure trove of exciting resort garb from some of today’s most fashion-forward, internationally recognized brands.
From Brazil, the home of beautiful, bronze bodies, Despi Swimwear phases out minimalism to make way for the glamour and luxury demanded by contemporary women. Their extremely fashionable suits caress the skin with enchantments of silk and natural cotton fibers and delicately embroidered beads and lace; while daring oversized jewels and leather and gold encrusted studs will definitely bring out your “sexytude” and inner rock ‘n roll chic.
For lovers of adventure and the outdoors, Eberjey will be the ideal companion. Meaning “joy” in a Nigerian dialect, the collections will undoubtedly rouse delight as they are inspired by jaunts around some of the world’s most fascinating places. Don slim and sexy suits reminiscent of Central America in shades of yellow, lush greens, and soft browns from Wild Forest, or get into the bohemian vibe with the exotic and mysterious prints of Moroccan textiles and tile with Marrakech.
If you’re more of a casual beach bunny, then evoke the feelings of freedom and fun from The Land Down Under as you frolic in the sun – with the fusion of quirky and classic themes of Tigerlily, Australia’s premium swimwear brand. Seeing the world in “bikini-colored glasses”, as model and founder Jodhi Meares puts it, a piece of Gaudi architecture, an 18th century armchair, or even a Picasso or a Monet aren’t safe – all things translate to their bikinis!
Feeling conscious? Well, don’t fret if the two-piece isn’t your thing. What would you think about swimwear that’s cut and gusseted to make you appear an inch slimmer around the waist and hips, and enhanced at the bust? Or perhaps a bandeau with prints that bring the eyes upward to flatter your neck and create an illusion of a longer torso? If those sound good, then let Fantasizer become the secret to your strut.
And when you’ve finally found the right swimsuit to match your taste, don’t reveal all just yet! Keep comfortably covered and stylish in Echo’s cotton metallic striped geo tunic or cotton smocked spectator duo dress. Paired with their colorfully patterned scarves and accessories, you won’t be able to resist sashaying down the sands.
To add a bit more sparkle, check out the Havaianas Embellished Collection in Metal Mesh Silver and Metal Mesh Gold. The studded metal mesh that is hand-sewn to the straps glams up the traditional silhouette, creating a comfortable but utterly luxe fashion statement
By showcasing these versatile offerings for 2010, Rustan’s truly has got it all for you, whatever your shape or size. With that, you can finally put down your list and say, “The perfect summer? Check!”
The Resortwear Area can be found in Rustan’s Makati and Rustan’s Shangri-la.

Finally we got to try Mr. Jones at Greenbelt 5! We decided to go as soon as it opens and have brunch! They did not accept our reservation as they do not take reservations on the weekends. Maybe it is because the seating capacity inside the restaurant is quite small with around 5 tables only, then you will have to stay outside. Heart2Heart loves the whole experience because the food is good, service is good and the presentation is so much fun!
The Chefs who cook all the good food in Mr. Jones 🙂
The very young and hip servers
The menu
Espresso with tootsie roll! 🙂 Heart2Heart loves the presentation!
The famous US Beef Ribcap ” Tapa and Garlic overload”
The Jones Classic Chargrilled 100% US Beef Burger
Blue plates means their main dishes. And the server told me that the portions are good for 2. I think it was good for 4! 🙂 It’s really good for sharing so nice to come in big groups and have fun at Mr. Jones!
We asked the server which was their bestsellers and we ordered two out of the three. The third was the Wagyu Beef ribs which we just have to go back for another time
Ofcourse I ordered the Wicked Truffled Mac n’ Cheese
My brother said that this is all he orders here so we ordered it too and it was good!
Fish N’ Chips
And my usual hot water! And it came in this pot. At first I was looking for the cup then realized later on! LOVE IT! 🙂
We were already satisfied so we did not order anymore dessert. Another reason to come back
Other parts of the menu
No wonder…it’s also owned by the same owners of Chelsea Market ( Chelsea Market March 2, 2008 and Chelsea Market with Eric and Mig November 28, 2008) and the group that manages Discovery Shores Boracay ( Discover Shores Boracay November 16, 2008 and Discovery Shores the Second Time around February 27, 2009) headed by Annabelle Wisniewski of Raintree restaurants. She always does a good job!
