IN LONGCHAMP’S SPRING/SUMMER 2019 ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

For her second season as the face of Longchamp, American supermodel Kendall

Jenner is photographed by Mikael Jansson for the House’s Spring/Summer 2019 advertising campaign.

The visuals capture the energy and sensuality of Longchamp’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection, which was shown at New York Fashion Week last September. In designing the collection, Longchamp Creative Director Sophie Delafontaine was inspired by Seventies glamour, and her vibrant silhouettes, fusing Parisian elegance with a laidback Californian vibe, paid tribute to style icons Veruschka and Anita Pallenberg.

This is an attitude that comes naturally to California-born Kendall Jenner, who models the collection’s sheer animal prints, ikat motif, fringed suede jackets and gladiator sandals in a series of single and double-page spreads conceived in the spirit of a fashion editorial.

Capturing Kendall in dynamic poses, Mikael Jansson makes full use of the collection’s statement fringes to evoke the energy and freedom that are fundamental to the active Longchamp woman. The other star of the campaign is the Amazone bag in padded red leather, which Kendall wears cross-body on a leopard-print shoulder strap, while other visuals feature the extravagant fringed and python-styled versions shown on the runway.

The Longchamp Spring/Summer 2019 print campaign with Kendall Jenner, comprising a variety of outdoor formats in addition to press, will break worldwide from February 2019.

As the party of the latter year closes, we welcome the breaking of the new year’s light in the grounds of the secret garden.

In January and February, from the darkness we welcome the emerging bright tones of the new, in electric pink and jade. Trend colour lilac and ombre pastels create a relief. In March and April we see the true Spring transition as we feel the sun’s rays on your skin. The palette give way to the pastels completely with summer colours coral and sunset seeping in. The fabric is souffle light, diaphanous and perfect for the voluminous silhouettes. Textual interest remains and an overall sense of soft femininity pervades the collection. We also remain true to our sleeker looks with the crepe bodies remaining closer to the body, encompassing the totality of our modern woman in the new year.

Spring breathes new life emoting lightness, happiness and an appreciation for nature.

The Aidan collection embodies these spring ideals through contemporary silhouettes and fabrications that have just the right amount of femininity while remaining alluring.

Vibrant shades of Red, Yelloe, Electric Passion and Bright Pink energize the spirit, while vaporous tints of Icy Lilac, Icy Pink and Sky create a calming and ethereal effect.

Irisdescence and sheen are conveyed though a variety of sequin colors, shapes, sizes and transparencies.
Texture is achieved through both small and life-size three-dimensional flowers.

The appreciation of nature results in cutting gardens and meadow-inspired prints, embroideries and jacquards. Graphic florals on black ground, photo realistic roses, and intermingled hand-drawn bouquets provide the perfect flora for each person’s individual style.

Individuality and self-expression are further realized through out capsule collection of sequin mini dresses with bold graphics and typography.
