RUSTAN’S THE BEAUTY SOURCE PRESENTS THE JOJIE LLOREN COLLECTIONS FOR JILL AND LUNA

Versatility in design and structure takes shape in the latest collection of chic brands Jill and Luna. Alongside a successful collaboration with Rustan’s and feted designer Jojie Lloren, Jill and Luna moves into a different direction weighing up every woman’s dynamic taste and lifestyle.

Considered as one of the country’s most eminent designers, Jojie Lloren has conquered the industry with his fashion forward creativity. Known for his architectural designs, Lloren’s designs express a myriad of characters that go with each woman’s discerning tastes. With numerous awards under his belt namely the Grand prize in the Philippine Young Designers Competition and the Grand Prize at the Concours de Jeunes Creataurs de Mode in Paris he has proven himself a pioneering designer of his time.

This time around, Lloren infuses his unorthodox fashion to two of Rustan’s top women’s fashion labels – Jill and Luna. Jill’s relaxed and casual sense of style exudes easy elegance for everyday wear. Playing and giving emphasis on women’s curves, Lloren for Jill gives life to what he connotes as blobitecture. The bulging of the sleeves together with some amoeba-shaped silhouettes speaks of this language. A mixture of colors sees black and white in a perfect blend with red, orange, blue, purple and green. With a woman’s dynamic lifestyle in mind, the holiday months starting November sees Jill in different color palettes. November has red, orange, blue and yellow and fun filled December highlights blue and purple.

Luna on the other hand places women on the red carpet. Chic for any occasion, Luna plays with movement and shape through Geometry. A combination of the old and new, the look circles in on the classic 50s couture tied with modern architecture. In a mix and match of materials, Lloren’s designs for Luna are formed with pleated chiffon, chiffon and organza. The shades are a blend of black and off white together with brights such as fuchsia and aqua.
