Crab and Mongolian BBQ Dinner

Another one of Mom’s seaside meals.  She has everything matching from the napkin rings, to the dinnerware and to the tablecloth. We had crab and mantis fresh from seaside!

Wow!! Yummy sidings for the crab.  My favorite was the taba ng talangka!  Mom said to make sure it is from Milky Way…THE BEST!

I went to peep at the kitchen and I saw the mantis before it was cooked

Farewell Dinner by Zette for Fran

Thanks to our friend Suzette Montinola, for hosting our despedida for Fran.  This is already like our third farewell get together for Fran before she finally leaves for Singapore.  

Our Ateneo group got together in Zette’s beautiful ancestral home, La Cocina de Tita Moning ( March 5, 2007 )

This is a new addition to the place.  A private dining room with a nice seating area on the side.  It can fit up to 14 persons comfortably.  Thanks to Anton Baretto for the beautiful interiors.  We are lucky to have been the first to sample and use the new room, we enjoyed and loved the whole experience

Our lovely host, Zette.  She prepared everything.  She went to the market in the morning to buy all the ingredients and prepared our dinner when she got back from work.  We were amazed at how fresh and beautiful she still looked after all that 🙂 Thanks Zette!
