Several weeks ago, I accompanied my friend Rina to bring her son, Quinto, to his violin lessons. I was so amazed! I just find the violin so elegant and so classic! And for a child to be playing it amazes me more. Quinto was so proud to show off his violin skills to me.
They say that it is important that a child learns atleast one musical instrument.

Thanks to our friend, Carlson, for giving us a copy of this beautiful CD. We missed the Loboc Children’s choir during our Bohol visit last year, so we are very happy to listen to them. Thank you for bringing them to us through this gift of music.
Carlson is one of the reasons this CD came to life. Though he is always so humble about his charitable ways, we know that he is behind many projects and supports many artists. Not only the Loboc Children’s Choir but artists/the arts in general.
The voices of the children ( 9 to 12 years old ) are so angelic! They represent their hometown, their heritage and everything that is beautiful through their voices and the music that they make. They travel to other countries to represent our country…. and they make us proud! This is already their second album. Please support them so they can continue to make beautiful music….

I am CRAZY over CRAZY SUSHIs! Also, aren’t you happy that now they found a way to make use of the leftover tempura batter that does not stick to the tempura? Nothing goes to waste. The “crunchy” part on the side of the sushi is the fried tempura batter pieces. I wonder if they will give you extra if you ask for more 🙂 because that is partially what makes it YUMMY! These are the three YUMMY kinds I have discovered so far….

Thanks Ginge for telling us about C2. Rina and Quinto took me out for lunch and we really enjoyed the Filipino food. Another good choice to take foreign friends or just to have good Filipino food.
Kare Kareng Baka
Boneless Crispy pata!
Seared Tilapia Fillet in Coconut Emulsion – this was my favorite- interesting combination of the coconut sauce with tilapia. And I liked that shredded thing on top..I am not sure if it is potato or camote
And of course, this is what Ginge told us to go here for- Bibingka souffle! How interesting to have a Filipino souffle

[email_link]I try to avoid going to Salcedo Market because you cannot imagine the temptation of going through all the booths there…I was just supposed to get the Bangus belly for dad last Saturday and true enough, on the way, I saw this!
I couldn’t say no! I just had to try it! And as you can see at around 11 am, it was almost gone
You can put lettuce, tomatoes, onions, chili sauce, garlic sauce and cheese.
From the same makers as the steak and cheese! I have not tried that burger yet!

Thanks to my friends, Rhia, Arlene and Nani for sending me this video on Facebook. It’s probably all over the internet……it definitely has to be in Heart2Heart.
You don’t have to be a Journey fan to appreciate this… The video is almost ten minutes long, but do take time out to watch until the end which is the best part of the video.
