We’re going! See you there if you and James are! This should be a terrific dinner .. as you know Norbert Gandler was responsible for the glory days in Tivoli – he actually sealed the restaurant’s reputation as an icon of fine dining in Manila. I can’t believe we won’t be able to go to Tivoli anymore, after the 25th July. Sad is an understatement.
The July 11 dinner with Norbert, Kenneth Cacho and Mang Ernie Babaran in the kitchen of the Tivoli is already fully booked. However, Gaita has been prevailed upon to cook for a one night only dinner on the 18th, July. That should also be a memorable one, and I will most likely book for that one likewise, They’re finalizing the menu and other details today, I think they will start accepting reservations tomorrow.
