Career Purveyors Providing Jobs for the Food & Beverage Industry

By | Classifieds/Segunda Mano, Services | One Comment

My friend, Chef Dino Guingona, started a new company which provides jobs for the food and beverage industry.  What great timing as the industry is really growing with many hospitality businesses opening left and right!  More power Chef Dino

High Tea at the Wallace Collection

By | Arts and Culture, Foodie, Travel | No Comments

Another high tea experience at the lovely Wallace Collection!  I had more high tea than brunches while in London!  But that is what they like doing – brunch and high tea 🙂

There’s more in the basement and other floors but it was closed already after high tea

 Just lovely!!

With two of my favourite people 🙂

In Tesco, if you are a member, you can Scan as you shop!!  LOVE!!! As you shop you can scan it already so when you get to the counter you just pay!!!  This of course is honesty system because you scan and check out yourself.  I wonder if this will work in our country

My friend Rina bought this license plate around 20 years ago as an anniversary gift for her husband name Florencio E. Reyes ( FER ).  Someone approached her to ask if she was selling it since he owns a Ferrari 🙂  She did not sell it of course for sentimental reasons 🙂

We googled licensed plates online and apparently these type of license plates are being sold online for big amounts!!!  The most expensive one we saw was  the license plate F1 which was being sold for 10 million British pounds!

london-sightings16.jpeg

Oh my! Purple matching cars in the garage 🙂  Take not of the license plates – bespoke again! 4LUV and 2LOV 🙂  I am so scared my husband will do something like this haha!!

THE UK has its own Amazon website – so since we don’t have a UK based credit card, you can buy these gift cards and use it to shop online 🙂  Only my smart husband can think of these things for us 🙂

Westfield Mall London

By | Shopping, Travel | No Comments

Westfield Mall is all over the world!  We can’t seem to stay away from it 🙂  So far they have many in the US, they have in New Zealand, Australia and in the UK.

The British will always have their own! 🙂

westfield-mall6.jpeg

Love this! In the aisle of the mall there are these pretty massage angels 🙂

 Zara Home!! ALL WHITE!

westfield-mall8.jpeg

Cute food stall selling pancake balls with toppings!

Cute chairs by the ice cream bar

westfield-mall12.jpeg

Apparently in the UK Frozen yogurt is not a fad!  The British love frozen yogurt!! Maybe I am British? haha!!

westfield-mall13.jpeg

I like the fact that in this mall, they have a separate section for all the high end brands.  They call it the village.  It’s important that in a mall, there is zoning rather than a hodge podge of everything.

westfield-mall1.jpeg

 Champagne bar in the middle

westfield-mall3.jpeg

Beautiful 🙂  I would think it won’t be as busy, but the ground floor is quite busy since it leads to the outside of the mall where there are restaurants

westfield-mall2.jpeg

And to Waitrose!!!  I love M& S and Waitrose!!!
