Our next destination – On board the Crystal Symphony @crystalcruises at the Canada Place Ship Terminal in Vancouver. The last time we went on a cruise was 20 years ago when our eldest son was only 1 year old and he even joined us – so we were looking forward to this adventure. As you arrive in the ship, a beautiful lobby awaits 🙂 With live music from a string quartet. This is also the main point of the cruise and main deck called the Crystal deck. It is the same from 20 years ago! haha!! 🙂 But still beautiful
You have to check in like you are checking in a hotel 🙂 And they take your photo and you are given a pass like this 🙂 You need this to go in and out of the ship like your passport

I walked around sometimes and I stumbled into this room – not sure what it is but maybe for private dining
In the bathrooms! I love this feature. There are also hand sanitisers around the ship There is security overtime you get off the ship and when you board. When boarding they have scanners for packages being brought in the ship
We are 1,060 passengers which is small compared to other cruise that have up to 5,000 passengers. While some people like plenty people, I prefer less so it is not too crowded. I’ve only been on a cruise twice and they were both on Crystal and we had a memorable experience. There are 3 retired ladies who now live on Crystal Serenity. They sold their home and moved to Crystal to travel the world and live without worry of maintaining a home. Hoping to take more cruises in the future. #CrystalCruises #H2HAlaskanCruise2016 
On the 7th floor is the Promenade deck which is an open deck where you can walk, run, ( 1 km is one round) or just stand and look at the view #Patiodeckview #Alaska #CrystalCruises #H2HAlaskanCruise2016
