I dragged my bestfriend Rina to come with me to Lusso so we could try it! I heard about the foie gras burger from my niece, Ria and she told me everyone is taking about it! Although I would have not minded more foie gras inside the burger 🙂

We had a delayed birthday lunch for me as we were waiting for the gang to be complete. We had it at Manila Golf. And wow! This for me is the best view you can ever have in Makati ( from the ground and not looking from a high floor of a building ). The greens and the space that you can see that reaches a far distance. I can just sit and watch the view all day 🙂
Thanks to the girls for joining and celebrating, we missed Dette who could not make it. I always enjoy catching up with them – Des, Lucille, Luzanne and Brenda ( and Dette who could not join us ). I can’t cook like Lucille, so I just invite for a simple lunch 🙂

Another reason for me to look forward to going to Shopwise! Right across is Heaven’s barbeque! I have been seeing this through flyers and posters but never got to try it. So for the first time I tried it and liked it!
I am into burgers and bbq nowadays 🙂
I always ask what their bestsellers are and I choose what I like among them. The girl in the counter recommended the QBowl and I read the description and ordered it!
I liked it very much!! For P 62.00 – it came with iced tea and soup. I was very satisfied – I did not even get to take the soup anymore. It seemed like one stick of BBQ only …but that was enough for me since there was a big bowl of rice with it. They even give extra BBQ sauce 🙂 YUM!

Nowadays, I am into trying to make things homemade. I am lucky I have a cook who can easily understand recipes and most importantly she understands me when I describe to her and tell her what to do 🙂 I just buy this fresh dulong from Shopwise and then fry it in olive oil and garlic. Yummy!

We were able to try the new burgers of Elbert in Powerplant Mall! I ordered the single patty with provolone cheese….only to realize that I prefer the DOUBLE patty with American Cheddar!!! So I started munching on Jaime’s cheeseburger!! 🙂 We will definitely be back for more!!! Elbert started offering the new burgers last August 1, Saturday! Better go and try it! YUMMY!!!!
