Qatar Airways

So far among all the airlines I’ve tried, Qatar Airways @qatarairways is the best!
1. Excellent service from staff
2. Best selection for entertainment – 95 movies to choose from
3. Best dining. – Dine anytime you like, in any order and order anything in the menu – They have a wide selection of drinks – mocktails, and hot chocolate not found in other airlines, asst of teas and more – good food ofcourse
4. Sensor flush button 5. Wet wipes in the toilet
6. Foot stool in the toilet Qatar Airways (9) 7. Many compartments in your seat to store things
8. The best airport lounge ( Doha)
9. Godiva ?? chocolates ? Posting this in the air since there’s free 15 mins wifi ? Truly the best ??

‘Untitled Lamp Bear’ by Swiss artist Urs Fischer

Lamp Bear by Swiss artist Urs Fischer takes centre stage in the grand foyer leading to HIA’s world-class duty-free hall. It is a 23-foot canary yellow teddy bear sculpted from bronze, that sits peacefully inside a lamp. It’s a playful piece that humanises the space around it and reminds travellers of childhood or precious objects from home.

In Lamp Bear, Swiss artist Urs Fischer combines memory with scale, creating simultaneously a monument and a vision. Scale defines our experience with art and particularly with sculpture. Scale doesn’t necessarily mean smaller or bigger. It means placing the viewer in a different relation to the reality he or she is familiar with. Memory is not just the past but a way to reimagine our lives.

Lamp Bear welcoms guests at Doha’s airport and celebrates the idea of travel, just as the artist celebrates travelling back in time to the symbols of childhood – a place we have all been to and where, once in a while, we like to go back.

Theater for Young Audiences stages Beauty and the Beast

REP’s staging of Beauty and the Beast is this year’s production of the REP Theater for Young Audiences, which is celebrating its 25^th anniversary. Cara Barredo, Alana Vincente, Jill Ita-as, and Maya Encila are set to play Beauty, while Arnel Carrion, Jos Jalbuena, Hans Eckstein , and George Schultz will be portraying the Beast.Follow the enthralling tale of a loving father who wanders into an enchanted garden as he takes shelter from a storm. Having promised Beauty, the youngest of his three daughters, that he would bring her home a rose, he decides to pick one, unknowingly angering the Beast who owns the garden. As punishment, the Beast demands that Beauty live with him in his castle in exchange for her father’s freedom. Little does Beauty know that her captor is under a spell that can only be broken by true love.

Lunch at Neil’s Kitchen May 13, 2015 So blessed to meet “Batman” Michelle Balaguer Ramos @michbramos 🙂 The woman behind the famous Neil Ramos of @neilskitchen I never met her before but she’s a friend of my sister. I took her photo in Westgate mall with the sign which has a photo of her husband Neil and their daughter Kaela. ( zoom in ) Yesterday she told us how she sold her business ( Andy & Karen 9 stores) so she could be an “obedient wife” and make her husband shine. And what happened? Neil is now so successful, so famous and so talkative ?? from being so quiet before. Who says that you won’t shine even if you are behind the scenes?
