Heart2Heart doesn’t usually post wakes but this is a different kind of wake. It’s a happy wake. As soon as I entered, the vibes of the kapilya was not heavy, it was not sad. Apparently Jojo was like that – he always had good vibes. I even heard that on the last night his friend played some music and friends were dancing and celebrating his journey to heaven. I noticed nowadays it’s becoming more like this and it’s nice because it helps everyone accept the fact that we will all go one day and we have to think of it as a milestone in our life where we can celebrate just like other milestones. And imagine it’s the milestone where we will go back to our creator – a celebration indeed. Yes we will miss them but they will forever be in our hearts. LeTAO @letao_ph cheesecake is the official cheesecake of the #Nisekrew Last year we went to Hokkaido and we all love LeTAO. We were also able to go to Otaru where it originated. Japanese cheesecake is different from American cheesecake so it’s lighter, cheesy in a different way ( not too salty, a bit sweet) and it doesn’t give a guilty or heavy feeling. So to us this is the best cheesecake. It’s Double Fromage with 2 layers – the top layer is a no bake cheesecake made of mascarpone cheese from Italy and the lower layer is a baked cheesecake. Around the cheesecake is grated cheesecake ( like the lower layer) which is like snow. Like the snow in Hokkaido, like the cheesecake that melts in your mouth ! I’m so happy it’s now in the Philippines only as a pop up in Uptown BGC mall and in Greenbelt 5 until March. The real store will open in October! My 2 companions today who I love and who I connect with LeTAO . Cherina @cheriris shared with me her valuable stash of LeTAO cheesecake and sent it to my hotel room in Sapporo with fresh Japanese strawberries pa. I tasted it and that’s how I fell in love with it. So I will never forget that. Berna on the other hand also tried it during her visit to Hokkaido last year and also loved it. So we are the LeTAO girls haha!! So happy to finally try Nomads @nomadsbbqrefuge. My cousin Ana told me about it and I promised I would stop by to try it. They have outdoor seating and indoor. Congratulations to my cousin Joey Vargas. They just opened last June. Come on over to try Taiwanese street food and Mongolian BBQ from 7-10pm #nomadsbbqrefuge
They have All you can eat Mongolian BBQ or you can order by the bowl. Its open only for dinner so we were not able to try it yet. We will be back

Regretting not eating enough street food while in Taipei but found a place where I can have Taiwanese fried chicken and I’m so happy I’m sitting peacefully in a table.
