Diesel JoggJeans are back with a breakout campaign that channels the essence of revolutionary denim.

Artist and Instagram iconoclast Doug Abraham (AKA @bessnyc4) unleashed his signature spliced transgressive work for JoggJean’s Spring/Summer 2015 Hybrid Denim advertising campaign. The result is a compelling visual statement that channels JoggJean’s hybrid DNA.

Graphic and bold, the image is inspired by JoggJean’s edgy hybrid fabric tailored for modern hybrid lifestyles. This technically advanced jersey-denim is woven from three threads, and can be treated like denim to achieve diverse dyeing, washing and distressing effects. Soft and comfortable as a pair of sweatpants with the high quality and durability of denim, JoggJeans are designed to be put through their paces. Diesel first launched JoggJean’s technology in 2011, evolving and refining the fabric courtesy of its pioneer washes and treatments. Initially worn by customers with active lifestyles and frequent travelers, JoggJeans has now established a following by denim enthusiasts.

Animation agency Reed and Radar created a film based on Doug’s striking work, which features a soundtrack from The Black Soft. It’s been a year since we’ve launched our Youth With A Future initiative, with Chef Alain Ducasse himself leading the first charity dinner to raise funds for Tuloy Foundation Inc’s culinary students. Since then, we have successfully trained and placed in internships the 10 bright culinary scholars. Today, we are proud to update you of their progress: 4 are still employed by the Four Seasons Jumeirah in Dubai, 2 are still with Chateau 1771, 2 are with Vask, and 2 are with the L’Opera Group now assigned to Prego, the newly opened restaurant in City of Dreams. All are making us proud with their performance at work – their superiors are in fact asking Chef See to send more graduates! For more updates, please visit www.youthwithafuture.ph

 We are hoping to raise enough funds to train another batch of at least 10 scholars this summer. The goal is to get these former street children employed by the end of the year. There will be a Laksa Night on 15 April (Wednesday) where Chefs See and Marc will be cooking a simple yet sumptuous 4-course dinner for only PhP 2,500 per person.

Jeanne and Lills treated us for their birthday – we went to Mary Grace for dessert in Greenbelt.  This is my first time to enter a Mary Grace!!! My friends think I am weird! haha!! I always eat their pastries but this is actually my first time to dine inside one.  I love it because it is not intimidating, it feels like home where  you can just come as you please and just feel relaxed and have a nice mealMary Grace (3)

For the Womenswear, you can expect light and neutral hues contrast with khaki and stone. Long-line waistcoats and flared trousers are practical and approachable, worn this season with bandeau tops. There’s a focus on ageless style, with real investment pieces like a khaki trench-coat or utility parka in camel whilst the kimono returns in deepest navy. There’s a romantic feel to Girlswear with pretty tea dresses in floral prints with volume swing skirts and tulle dresses for summer. Casual ranges see jumpsuits and soft blazers in chiffon with separates in nautical colors of red, white and the color of the season, navy. There’s a sports luxe feel to sweats and rib tees in monochrome, whilst the black biker jacket is the definitive in layering for Spring.

Healthy Meals, Cooking Classes, and Gardening

Your child is curious about everything in her environment, including food. At 25 Mushrooms Kitchen the children are actively involved in the process of growing food, picking herbs in our garden, and cooking. Only the healthiest foods go into their growing bodies, so we feed the kids all local and organic produce from the farmers’ market.

About the Course
We offer cooking classes and food tasting with an emphasis on fresh food and fun activities, resulting in less stressful mealtimes due to making better food choices.

In our cooking classes, kids are exposed to smelling, touching, cooking and tasting fresh wholesome foods. They learn fun food facts and are shown how to use basic kitchen utensils and appliances in a safe way. The food the kids make is either eaten as morning or afternoon tea during the class, or packed for them to take home with them. Aprons are provided for use during the class and the recipes are supplied.

Every week children will explore all five senses as we ‘visit’ a different country in our kitchen: whether it’s sushi from Japan, an Egyptian yogurt dip or a homemade American pie, students will locate their culinary destination on the map before exploring the taste, color, texture, and smell of each ingredient. This class is an excellent opportunity for a picky eater to broaden his/her food choices.

 Our family loves coconut anything. It’s our local product, it’s healthy and it’s yummy. Last week I met a gentleman, Patrick Lee, and his business is Coconut sugar with the brand Coco Natura. He works with Gerard Liu, the son of Mrs. Liu of Costa Brava.  Patrick is the VP for Export while Gerard is the President.
