I went to the preview of the Spring Summer Collection of Oka B

Back at Ananyana Resort Bohol

To the right of Bellevue Resort Bohol is a public beach ( not maintained ) then there’s Ananyana where we stayed in 7 years ago. We walked towards there to check it out

Ruela toured us around 🙂 That day was a Tuesday and there had zero occupancy that day. Imaging had we stayed there we would have had the whole place to ourselves! 🙂 But maybe I would be too scared to be alone! haha

This place is owned by Emma, a friend of our friend Yvonne

The resort can accommodate 28 people only ( not including kids who can squeeze in the rooms ) So you can imagine the privacy. We were a group of 25 a few years back and we practically had the whole place to ourselves. It’s really perfect for a big group and you can claim it as yours 🙂 during your stay

There platforms are new – they were used for a wedding reception and they kept it – it’s beautiful because you can just hang out and lounge and enjoy the beautiful view

The owners villa which can be rented out also. It’s the best because it is by the pool

Blue Soldier Crabs

The next day, we went walking by the beach and it was low tide

When I saw these marks on the sand, I knew that the blue soldier crabs have been here!!! So I planned to wake up early morning the next day to check them out!

I woke up at 530am to get out by 6am. There were workers by the beach raking the weeds and dirt on shore since it was low tide. They have till 9 am to finish cleaning up 🙂

Beautiful views. So peaceful early in the morning!I waited for quite some time and could not see them!! But after while a boatman helped me and he spotted them and called me. You cannot see them from afar – you need to go close to where they are. You need to have no movement or else they will hide. What I did was walk towards them – they hide – don’t move and stay put where you are and they will come out again

Romantic Dinner at Bellevue Resort Bohol

This has got to be the best Valentine’s we have ever had! You think that as you grow older the magic dies down – but not for us! 🙂 For me atleast! haha!! When we arrived in Bellevue Resort Bohol, they prepared for us a Romantic dinner by the beach!!! IT WAS SO SO BEAUTIFUL!!

It was very windy so it was nice and cool

Everything was so delicious and in generous portions! You can book this dinner on its own or as part of a package!

We had fresh buko juice instead of wine 🙂

Chef Gerry Diplog came out and brought us coconut rice!

He sliced the coconut to open it and there was our rice!!! Which was cooked with coconut juice! Very interesting.

Buffet Breakfast at Lamian Bellevue Resort Bohol

Part of a getaway is waking up at your own pace and catching the buffet breakfast that closes at 10am! 🙂 It’s even better because it becomes brunch and you eat once instead of twice 🙂

They even have a little Bohol Bee Farm store where you can buy products from the Bee Farm at the same price! Of course it cannot be as complete but they have the best sellers

They pass the test because they have danggit and bacon 🙂 They not only have danger but they have fried dried squid which is also yummy and crispy

Super loved these Filipino delicacies!! Freshly made by the kitchen. Ube Pastillas, Ube Macaron and Torta which is a delicacy in Bohol. ALL YUM!!! I asked the waiter if it will be in the buffet breakfast again the next day but he said it changes!! So I made baon since it was closing 🙂 I wrapped up a few 🙂[email_link]

Bellevue Resort Bohol

Every now and then it’s nice to just go away for a day or two.

We arrived at out destination – Bellevue Resort Bohol in just an hour and five minutes ( + 30 mins car ride ). Thank you for hosting us Ryan Chan of Bellevue Resorts and Jane Go. No need to travel so far to get away from it all. So this trip is

1.) A much needed break

2.) A new adventure to take and

3.) A way to celebrate (Valentine’s Day )

I made sure it rhymed! 🙂

Bellevue Resort Bohol is the only 5 star resort in Bohol. It’s relatively new and they have been around for around 2 years

I went to the end of Bellevue Resort to take this shot to shoe the resort and the beach. It’s was low tide. I love going to places during non peak periods because you have the place practically to yourself. That’s the secret to having a quiet and peaceful break

There are security guards in different areas of the resort – In the hut is a guard and which marks also the border of the resort. There is a security guard also on the other side

The rooms are spacious considering this is just the regular room. This is the deluxe room and it was very comfortable for us. Each room in the resort has a balcony too

As soon as I arrived, I already spotted the best rooms in the place! It’s here in the North Wing which are Beach front rooms. The corner ones are the best because they face the beach directly and you have no obstructing room in front/ Request for room 220 and the best best would be the highest room 320 and they are junior suites
