We were surprised when one day Chef Javs said he wanted to prepare a degustation! He must have been inspired by something for him to do this. He wanted the whole family to come but just a few could make it on short notice. This was five weeks ago so it is a delayed post. He did not want me to post it because he feels it’s not so good, but I told him that it was very good especially for his first time.
I went behind the scenes to check on my Chef 🙂
Appetizer – Foie gras pate with apple – This looks very simple but it was really good

Our first dish, Potato tortilla with potato foam and crispy potatoes and green onions. He used the whipper to make the foam – so you can say this is molecular gastronomy 🙂
When Mom saw this dish, she rushed to bring out her caviar and added it 🙂

Salmon with Cream cheese in Phyllo pastry – it was a big big portion – we told the Chef that he should make his portions smaller 🙂 He doesn’t realize that we do not eat as much as he does! 🙂

What a beautiful movie! Everyone is talking about Oprah, but Forest Whitaker was also so good!!
A very heartwarming and inspiring movie based on a true story. Currently the number one movie in the USA. Showing on Wednesday, August 21 in all SM Cinemas!
People came and braved the rains to watch the premiere and it was all worth it!

My friend Iya introduced me to Lady Satin Pillowcases! Which are truly so so soft and comfortable! At a very reasonable price!! Heart2Heart doesn’t really shop a lot but will invest in bed linens and anything that is on the bed 🙂 I requested for the color white 🙂 Thank you Jem!!

Time flies so fast! I met Patrice when she was 10 years old. She was in the same school as Jaime at that time. And now, she is eighteen years old!!! Already a lady! A beautiful one. Thank you Tito Ernie, Tita Chichi, Jun Jun and Rhoda for making us a part of this momentous occasion in Patrice’s life. We will be waiting for the next one, when it’s Patty’s turn
As you enter the ballroom there were paintings displayed, apparently for raffle to the guests! Wow! 🙂

I like what Tito Ernie said when he acknowledged Rhoda his eldest daughter who organized everything. He not only talked about Patrice but also talked about Rhoda. He did not take away attention from her by focusing only on Patrice. I was so touched by that
