Dinner by Remy

Everyone takes care of Lolo – we always have good food when we eat with him.  Aside from the yummy food of Yaya Sion, sometimes Chef Javs cooks for Lolo and sometimes, Tita Nedy sends food cooked by her cook, Remy!

My friend, Rachelle, invited me since she wanted to support her husband, Chef Thomas who is in charge of the Restaurant and is also an instructor at Enderun

Apparently they have a new Chef from Austria!  A young chef whose heart has brought him to come to the Philippines 🙂

Wow, this alone is a magnificent culinary creation!  You normally just get a piece of bread but this one was so unique!! Loved it with the soup- Goat Cheese Chanterelle Crouton

Celebrating at Hosseins

Results of the endoscopy was good.  They did not find anything.  Whew!  For peace of mind, it was worth it.  I was so hungry since I could not eat before the procedure so right after, I asked James to come with me to celebrate and eat in our favorite place – Hosseins!  I was so happy!!

We are always happy to see a familiar face because when we were first coming here, Mr. Hossein had only one branch, this branch in Makati Avenue but ever since then he has opened several and the staff have been scattered.  Here is Rodney who has been working here for 19 years already since 1994.

Well, James and I have been coming here longer than Rodney has been working here – and till this day – we still order the same thing!

James orders this because we like the motabal and then he uses the pita bread to make his sandwich – putting the grilled beef kebab, tomato, sauces to make his kebab sandwich

Our waitress was the best – maybe because Rodney tipped her haha!!  I was telling her my dilema that I liked the Shrimp Tandoori Kebab but that I could not finish it and that it was the sauce I really really liked – so she just gave me the sauce!!!! YAHOO!!!

Mangetsu Get Together for Suharto and Rina

So nice of Sonny and Natalie to always organize something when Suharto and Rina are here!  🙂  And everytime I see them, the look younger and younger everytime and more hip! 🙂  And I always take advantage and talk to the two of them because I always learn a lot from them – about life, about business about everything!!  I love them! 🙂

Joint Birthday Celebration of Jeanne, Lils, Eds Raul and Toots
