When you think Dessert Kitchen – immediately what came to my mind was dessert heaven filled with rich, super sweet, super fattening sweets. 聽But apparently that is not what Dessert Kitchen is all about. 聽It’s desserts that are light and relatively healthier than the usual desserts that we have. 聽So it’s even better than what I expected. 聽We should have more places like these!!!

Heart2Heart loves Soft Ice cream 馃檪 聽 At The Dessert Kitchen its low fat and low sugar. 聽They serve 2 flavours at a time so the one marked is the one they are serving for the day- Vanilla and Yogurt for us that day

聽We started with a savory dish. There’s only 2 in the Dessert Kitchen @thedessertkitchenph Japadog ? eggettes ? It’s their version of a waffle dog with caramelized onions, seaweed, teriyaki mayonnaise and with honey mustard dressing. Yum!

One of the signature dishes at @thedessertkitchenph – Taiwan Style Shaved ice. It comes in different flavors – Coconut, Mango and even Durian with Mini Rice Balls, Nata De Coco, and fresh mangoes. Light, refreshing and sweet. The desserts at the Dessert kitchen are very innovative, light ( low fat ) and healthy yet tastes good. 聽Newly opened Unakichi ( Unagi Boy ) Japanese restaurant in Makati Cinema Square. 
聽It’s owned by 2 Japanese guys Watanabe and Shimakawa. They have a 6 yr old branch in Shanghai and another Japanese resto in Cambodia. They worked with Miyagawa restaurant in Tokyo to create Unakichi. They are open lunch 11am-2pm and dinner 6pm onwards In Makati Cinema Square beside KFC. 聽Mykie and Keiko are our source for anything Japanese because Keiko is Japanese and my friend Mykie always tells us about the good Japanese restos. Tonight they took us to have the best and most authentic unagi in the Philippines聽

There are 2 kinds of eel in Unakichi – they have a fatty version for those that like big and fattier. 聽This is the regular which they call “Fine eel”
聽The only fresh grilled ( charcoal ) unagi 聽in the Philippines
They get their eel from a farm in the Philippines that has been exporting to Japan for 4 years already. They have been serving 100 eels a day since they opened last month.聽
聽The sauce they have is a 100 year old sauce which they grow from the original sauce from Japan #unagi #Unakichi #eel

Unagi No Yakionigiri – Baked rice ball with grilled eel. 聽Yummy but the eel inside was very small, but i liked the crispy rice outside with unary sauce 馃檪
I love trying the concoctions of Pria so as soon as I saw her dried fish, I wanted to try it. It’s delicious. 聽Even the hubby liked it!! I like dishes that are made from recipes passed down from generation to generation. 聽They are always unique, they taste good and there is a sentimental value to it. 聽So Heart2Heart loves those!
