By | Best of, Travel | 2 Comments

This feature is dedicated to my friend Malu who started an album in her facebook page on different lights.  Right after I saw her photos, I tried to look for nice ones and what better place to start than in Macau where they have all the kinds of chandeliers and lights which are so so beautiful!!!

Wing Lei Wynn Hotel Macau

By | Foodie, Travel | No Comments

It’s so hard to get a booking in the restaurants of the Wynn!!  We stayed there but could not reserve!  We wanted to try the Japanese, Okada, and the Italian, Il Teatro.

We finally decided to ask Ralph to let us eat here for our last meal!!  We should have asked Ralph from the beginning to help us!

The food was really really good!

They had a lunch special but we didn’t avail of this for now

I don’t remember the name of this dish but it was a baked siopao and it had something sweet on top sort of like our ensaymada and it was sooo good!!!

Restaurante Fernando Macau

By | Foodie, Travel | 4 Comments

This is my favorite Macau restaurant!!!  The best does not always have to be the most expensive for me.  This place was so simple yet the food was really really good!  I love portuguese food since it is similar to Spanish!  Really value for money and really good food! I highly recommend this place, Don;t leave Macau without eating here.  There is only one thing missing for me…..PLAIN RICE!!!  It would have been perfect with the Bacalao and the Roast Suckling pig!

fernandos-01.jpgfernandos-02.jpg

Funny sign in front 🙂

fernandos-040.jpg

Front of the restaurant and wondering why there is no one eating here

fernandos-03.jpgfernandos-04.jpgfernandos-05.jpgfernandos-06.jpg

Take not of the P 20.00!  Of course they will leave only the smallest bill! haha!!

fernandos-07.jpgfernandos-037.jpg

Outside seating which probably can be used when the weather is cold

fernandos-036.jpg

We were taken to the back and this was where everyone was eating…very simple, no frills, and so NO AIRCON! 🙂

fernandos-09.jpg

They sat us near the window and this was our view! So, we just didn’t look outside! 🙂

fernandos-033.jpg

We could see the kitchen

fernandos-034.jpg

Simple table setting

fernandos-010.jpg

Yummy sangria!

fernandos-020.jpg

Yummy bread to go with Bacalao and Roast suckling pig

fernandos-021.jpgfernandos-011.jpgfernandos-032.jpgfernandos-012.jpgfernandos-013.jpgfernandos-014.jpg

The best bacalao I have ever tasted

fernandos-031.jpgfernandos-015.jpgfernandos-016.jpg

WOW!! Super tasty lechon! I just call it lechon 🙂

Before watching Zaia, we had dinner nearby so Mom booked us at the Chinese restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel.  It was very very good!!!!   We told them we had a show to catch and they made sure we got our food on time.  They even ushered us to the theater which was a short cut from the hotel

Lord Stow’s Egg Tarts

By | Travel, Yummy! | No Comments

I read in the internet while googling that you should eat EGG TART when in Macau.  According to out tour guide, Mom, Lord Stowe is the BEST!   I don’t really eat egg tarts so I would not be able to validate that but it was really YUMMY!  We went to this branch, only to find out there was a store in the Venetian though we are not sure if they are being freshly baked over there.
