Hill Station, Casa Vallejo, Baguio City

By | Foodie, Travel | 3 Comments

Below Casa Vallejo is Hill Station.  This is like the coffeeshop of restaurant of the hotel.  I heard about this place from friends so I asked Dad and Mom to take me here. So this was our last stop before leaving Baguio

To me, as important as the food is the ambience of the restaurant.  I like it when the place is clean, nice, cozy and comfortable.  The feeling is light, happy and just give you an overall good feeling.

It’s a nice open space with a nice view and the beauty of Baguio is the weather is so nice so the windows were just all opened and it was just perfect  that day

I asked the owner if I could take her photo for my website, so here she is 🙂  Mitos, the owner.  I heard from Vicky Clemente that she is the daughter of the owner of Mario’s restaurant

There is a pasalubong corner where you can take home some of the restaurants creations

I like trying and seeing different and unique bread baskets and not always the usual french bread and butter.  This was olive oil with like a spice, yummy!

Baguio Memories

By | For kids, Travel | No Comments

Our family grew up in Baguio and it will always have a special place in our hearts because of all the memories we have…..I looked back at old photos and started to reminisce.

When we come to Baguio, we spend most of our time in the house of Lolo which is so beautiful.  Believe me when I say there is something magical about this house that makes us want to come back and come back

Rain Boots

By | Fashion, Travel | No Comments

You cannot imagine how valuable rain boots are, unless it is really raining and you need to walk outdoors.   So I invested in rain boots when I was in Los Angeles last time since it was pouring so hard and my feet were freezing and wet!  I am so glad that I can also use the rain boots in Manila now that it is raining!!  I never ever wore rain boots til now and I love them 🙂  We are in Baguio now and it is raining over here, so I use them both for the cold and for the rain

I told Mom to bring her boots as well and I love her boots even more!!! They have hearts on them 🙂
