On this trip, I put together some tips 🙂 Â
Put something on your luggage so you can spot it right away without looking at the luggage tag.  Putting red ribbons are very common already.  I liked what Tita Ina did with their luggage – she put red pom poms 🙂 Â
And she sent me pink ones for mine! Yipee! Thank you Tita Ina! Â
When we arrived in London last September, I got my luggage and was shocked to see it melted with a hole!!!! Â
We reported it to the airlines in their counter and got this slip so we can claim from the airlinesÂ

Make sure to keep the luggage tag from the airlines
Someone called us in our hotel and we coordinated the replacement. Â They were not able to find the exact same model of Rimowa that I had so we got one ourselves and kept the receipt
Also when in Europe, don’t forget to claim back your VAT
Just shop shop and shop and just send everything by Balikbayan Box, there is an LBC in every major city 🙂

I love flea markets – not only for cheap things but for unique items you can’t find elsewhere. Â We went at around 10 am and the walkways were wide open, but at around 12 noon, the place was jam packed with people! Â So best to go as soon as it opens at 9am! [email_link]
We met up with a friend, Sandra, who lives in the city. Â We went to another favorite, La Baracca. Â Very touristic but we love the paella the way they serve it so we do not have to bother to experiment Paella Valenciana! YUM! Â When we were students in Madrid, we would save up our allowance and celebrate in La Baracca Make sure to order the Baked Alaska. Â Order it already at the start of the meal Click below to go to their website [email_link]
We went outside Madrid, around 20 minutes away to visit some friends in Majadahonda. Â They took us to this restaurant in the neighborhood. Â We enjoyed very much! Â Click below to go to their website [email_link]
As I said, we went further than where we were staying 🙂  From Baiona we travelled around 30 to 40 minutes to go to Vigo to have lunch.  We went to Plaza dela Piedra where there is a row of tapa bars There are vendors outside selling fresh oysters 🙂 We did not eat there, instead we walked up some stairs and went to El Mosquito.  A popular shellfish restaurant This place reminded us of our restaurant in Santander but it’s more spacious   Previous entry:  Marucho Dec. 10, 2013 The boys were happy again 🙂 they had percebes [email_link]
This was a feature supposedly in the San Sebastian series.  We visited this hotel which is supposedly the best in San Sebastian and it is 5 Star.  It is beautiful!  Though we preferred staying in our hotel because of the view  Previous:  Hotel de Londres San Sebastian Spain  November 13, 2013  We only got to see the lobby and I love the interiors! And finally our last stop of our gastronomic tour in Northern Spain – Baiona.  Always make sure you save the best for last 🙂  The thing is I noticed that we hardly stay in our hotel, we are always out!  We always want to go far from where we are 🙂  We need to learn to just stay and appreciate the hotel/parador  Open that curtain to see a beautiful view!! The wind was so strong – we could not leave it open at night – but it was beautiful! Click below to go to their website [email_link]
