At The Mandarin Oriental, there are many kinds of rooms and villas! All beautiful!!
The resort was full due to the holidays and we had booked so late so this was the only one available. Deluxe Villa With outdoor jacuzzi
Map of the place
Because the place is so big, you need a buggy to go around the resort
Wow it was a house! 🙂 with two floors
Kitchenette

Your own pool and tropical garden! WOW!
Facing a rice paddy!
Outdoor shower
You really have to be careful of mosquitos in the place – they give you mosquito repellant in your room – make sure to use it and keep your doors closed at all times

There is lots to do in the 60 acre resort! We normally take it for granted and always go out of the resort or hotel – but really there is lots to do if you just stay in the resort
Cute, they have a kalesa which you can use inside the place
A Spa of course! 🙂
Walking around some more and checking out the beautiful buildings and views
Rice paddies around the resort – you can even join the rice planting activity which can be both for adults and kids
This is a pool bar near the health center/gym
Where there usually aren’t much people haha!!
I am not sure but I think these bikes are the bikes you can use around the place
Beautiful! Going to the Crafts Village and the Lanna Kids CLub
A nice kids place where they can hang out and do lots of fun activities
They have arts and crafts activities for both kids and adults
I did not make any but I was able to get souvenirs from this

As soon as Christmas was over, we flew to Chiang Mai 🙂
We arrived already evening in the resort
But took photos during the day of the place
I thought we were back in India 🙂
Wow! I thought another palace!! But apparently this place is relatively new that it is only 8 years old. It’s not an old place, it was built from scratch
Beautiful car of the son of the owner
The lobby
Nice chandliers too. Thailand reminds me a lot of India
Some parts of the resort –
you can bike around the resort 🙂

When in Tagaytay, I try to make the most out of my visit – One of the places we went to was the farm of my friend, Arlene Sanchez-Maslog! This is the rest house of her Dad and Mom at the same time there is a farm for the plants of the Mom
Wow!! This is a serious hobby of my Arlene’s Mom! As you enter, there are rows and rows of greenhouses!
And a beautiful rest house to stay in during the weekends! Arlene is an architect and interior designer, and she did this for her parents!!

With nice landscaping of course 🙂
Pathway leading to the back of the house
to the pool! Love the plants at the back which added a nice touch to the pool
Further to the back, a tennis court! Wow!
Then further further down, a very nice chapel!! I love this!
Going back inside, there are more greenhouses!! With orchids and other kinds of flowers and plants
There were puppies of the workers in the house, we wanted to take this home 🙂

We cam so late the caretaker had to leave so we could not go inside the house anymore 🙁 But here it is featured in Real Living Magazine!! Congrats to my friend, Arlene! I love the look and that it is Filipiniana

We stayed here for a day and one night and we did not have to go anywhere else to eat! They had a great offering we could not resist 🙂

We were there on December 18, before Christmas, so they had a special Christmas menu! We had a wonderful stay at Discovery Country Suites
I am showing two photos – with and without the foie gras 🙂
Again, with and without the foie gras
