Kate Spade New York Spring 2016

By | SSI Group Inc | No Comments

It’s the “first blush of spring” that influenced the kate spade new york Spring 2016 collection, as the brand brings to life springtime in New York City, when a simple shortcut through the flower district or a stop in front of a local bodega with bursts of roses and daisies excites a notion of escape. This season, Kate Spade New York debuts a fresh face with famed British model Jourdan Dunn, the star of the brand’s vibrant new campaign, which features fashion and accessories from the core kate spade new york collection, as well as the recently launched Broome Street label and the luxe Madison Avenue label.

The Spring 2016 campaign, shot by Emma Summerton, features an eclectic cast of modern icons – including supermodel and philanthropist Jourdan Dunn; fashion muse Iris Apfel; actress, model and photographer Syrie Moscowitz; fashion illustrator Robert W. Richards; artist, actress and model Anh Duong; author Karley Sciortino; and musician and composer Jon Batiste – celebrating the unique personalities of New York and a nod towards the colorful and vibrant kate spade new york Spring 2016 collection.

Kate Spade New York Spring 2016

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Jourdan Dunn, as she joins our team of interesting personalities this season,” shared Deborah Lloyd, President and Chief Creative Officer of kate spade new york. “Similar to our customer, Jourdan is a woman who wears many hats, as a model, mother, philanthropist and chef. She perfectly embodies the spirit of the ‘kate spade new york girl,’ and we’re excited to share this spirit through our Spring 2016 campaign and collection.”

In the Philippines, Kate Spade New York is located at Central Square in Bonifacio High Street Central, Greenbelt 5, Newport Mall, Power Plant Mall, Rustan’s Cebu, Rustan’s Makati and Rustan’s Shangri-La.  One Hundred Filipino Cultural Performers set to grace 2016 World Culture Festival

The Art of Living Foundation, one of the largest volunteer based international organizations aiming to transform societies through educational and humanitarian projects, made a pressing call for support to help raise funds to send the award-winning  cultural performers from the Buyogan Festival to the World Culture Festival (WCF) on March 11-13, 2016 in New Delhi, India, where 3.5 million people worldwide are expected to join.

The Participation of the highly talented Buyogan Festival dancers from Leyte in this groundbreaking event is seen as a springboard to place the Philippines in a global spotlight as they showcase Filipino talent and artistry while rising again from the devastation brought by Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

Present during the media briefing on WCF are representatives of Buyogan Festival dance troupe and Mayour Octavio J. Traya Jr. of Abuyog, Leyte (center) with (from left) Art of Living Philippines Executive Director Amar Daswani; Country Coordinator Nameeta Dargani; volunteer teachers; Madeline Pajarillo, Siaw San Liew, Kim Hartman; and Randall Chua. Help fund the initiative online at www.tinyurl.com/BuyoganToWCF.
