Last month I bumped into Mariana in the supermarket and she told me about a workshop. I really believe that that was not by chance and that I was meant to be in this workshop because it has brought so much happiness and peace to me.
Across Pangalusian is this beautiful island! A friend of ours is building there and we went to visit!!
Amy Alvarez picked us up and took us to their island
View of Pangulasian from the other side 🙂
So far 2 years in the making. Amy has been going back every month to check on the construction. Looking forward to seeing it when it’s done. Once it’s done they will rent it out

We had a very good dining experience at Pangulasian

From breakfast where you can make your own fresh smoothie
to the beautifully presented dishes
Freshly cooked tapa, tocino, longganisa, etc
Here are the choices which they just cook as it is ordered – it is better so it is not wasted

Romy! Ever efficient and always there to supervise the meals
We also ate by the Pool bar. Love the simplicity of the setting yet it is so elegant. They just tied a leaf 🙂
Salmon which was very good!! I don’t really eat Salmon but all the salmon dishes in the island was so good!!!
Yum! I forgot the name of this dessert but it was good 🙂
Love the complimentary snacks in the room!!! Especially the Coconut cookies and the banana chips
They are known for their freshly baked coconut cookies which they serve when you arrive in the boat, in the room and while you go touring in the boat. They sell them too in the resort shop in a nice gift box 🙂
Amy Alvarez recommended for us to check out the beachfront of El Nido Town and so we did
It’s beautiful! Some travellers stay here rather than the resorts and it is like a mini Boracay 🙂
Beautiful view from the beachfront
There are restaurants and shops by the street at the back of the beachfront

Amy said this was a good place for pizza
Tours being offered in several stalls
Amy suggested we try to have a meal here and we did – Mezzanine
Back in Paradise!! I called it Pangalusian previously and just realised it is Pangulasian

Lia Bernardo was talking about sanctuaries and I realized that Rustan’s is one of my sanctuaries. When I’m here I’m so at home and I’m happy when I’m here with all the staff so friendly, the store always so clean with nice music and looking at all the beautiful things from all over the world is just happiness

In the photo are peonies which she loves and an Acrila dresser which is Lia’s sanctuary at home where she fixes up herself. Just listening to Lia is already happiness and so relaxing

In Rustan’s Home Lia Bernardo talked about creating sanctuaries in your home. Buying things and surrounding yourself with things that you love and that make you happy. Sometimes I feel we are pressured to put things in our home that we think will make other people happy or what maybe our interior designer likes. But in this sanctuary that Lia was talking about it has to be something personal to you.
When Lia Bernardo was talking about creating a sanctuary in your home, I knew right away what spot that was in my house and how I unconsciously created it. My husband always closes the door of my sanctuary because he thinks it’s weird 🙂 and I have to keep telling him that no one has to like it but me! And I’m so happy I have this place all to myself so I can put here everything that I want without having to please anyone . So anything pink and hearts and all my trinkets are all here. I love this place and it’s my happy place. No one bothers me when I’m here

Create your own sanctuary at home for your well being. Thank you Lia. We learned so many things. Blessing for the day. Lia is a Well being and Personal growth consultant. She does workshops on personal growth in the healing house or people can host their own retreats. I wish I could listen to her everyday so I will always be inspired and peaceful and happy.
She is also a partner of my cousin Katrina offering Elixir healing mists which can be used as personal fragrances or home spray. Contact liabernardo@gmail.com. She also has her own website which was recently launched! ( Click below to go to her website and follow her )
Introducing to all of you Mariana Mayorga who has been living in the Philippines for 2 1/2 years. She came to the Philippines for vacation since her Father was the Ambassador of Chile. She is a lawyer by profession but she met Tita Nedy and now she is a Rustan’s Department store Makati Personal Shopper. Call her at 09152178776 and she can help you for anything. You can also call her for a date because she’s still single haha!! 🙂
My Mom has a food notebook which lists down all the food she has in the house. It is categorised ! This way she can just look at her notebook to know what is in her pantry /storage. It also indicates the Best Before or expiry dates of each food item
Aside from food, she has albums with photos of the home items she has also in storage
Each item has a photo and it indicates the quantity and the location where it is stored
